The invention relates to the field of welding production and is aimed at obtaining a metered volume of the weld pool and miniaturization of the weld beads. This task is achieved by the fact that in the method of arc welding with a non-consumable electrode, additional short-term pulses are superimposed on the continuous supply of the filler wire using a feeding device. The device, along with the continuous feed mechanism, contains a pulse feed mechanism of a filler wire, consisting of a cam located on one shaft with an electric motor and gear, a lever connected on one side through a bronze roller with a cam, and on the other hand, through a groove and 2 pins - with a movable clip and a flexible hose through which a filler wire moves out of the continuous feed mechanism. When the pulse feed mechanism is turned on, the rotational movement of the cam through the bronze roller and the lever is converted into the reciprocating motion of the movable holder with a flexible hose and a filler wire moving along them. The frictional force that occurs when the wire moves along the flexible hose prevents spontaneous slipping of the wire in the movable holder. This simplifies the design by eliminating the gripping mechanism and stoppers from it and improves the kinematic structure of the device. The presence of the device makes it possible to obtain a combination of continuous and pulsed wire feed during welding, which makes it possible to obtain a small drop transfer of filler metal and to dose the volume of deposited metal. In this case, the wire feed speed in a pulsating mode will be equal to the vector sum of the speeds of the continuous and pulsed wire feed.
