Предложено окислительную конверсию метанола осуществлять с использованием серебряного и окисного катализатора с подачей дополнительного количества кислородсодержащего газа на окисный катализатор, при этом контактные газы после конвертирования метанола на серебряном катализаторе подвергают парциальной конденсации, несконденсированную часть контактных газов направляют на окисный катализатор, а сконденсированную часть частично или полностью возвращают на серебряный катализатор в смеси со свежим метанолом и воздухом или кислородсодержащим газом. Предлагаемый способ позволяет получить концентрированный безметанольный формальдегид при более высокой конверсии метанола и селективности образования формальдегида, а также снизить энергоемкость и металлоемкость процесса.The invention relates to the field of chemical technology and can be used to obtain formaldehyde by the oxidative conversion of methanol. The proposed method allows to obtain a concentrated non-methanol formaldehyde with a higher methanol conversion and formaldehyde formation selectivity, as well as to reduce the energy and metal consumption of the process.
