Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain the high purity title compound by absorbing and recovering ethylene oxide obtained by the oxidation of ethylene with O2-containing gas in the presence of Ag catalyst, evaporating in an evaporation tower, condensing the vapor by a specific method, and directly hydrolyzing the condensate.
