Abstract
Description
The invention relates to plant protection products, more specifically, to a herbicidal composition based on mesotrione, nicosulfuron and aminopyralid, as well as a method for controlling weeds using this composition. The present invention can be used in agriculture to control dicotyledonous and cereal weeds in cereal crops, in particular corn.
State of the art
Weed control is a problem that constantly arises in agriculture. The main harm caused by weeds is a sharp decrease in yields and deterioration in the quality of the resulting products. Now on the market of chemical plant protection products there are a large number of herbicidal preparations (both single-component and combined). However, not all of the recommended herbicides can effectively solve the weed problem. This is due not only to the presence of malicious, difficult-to-eradicate weeds, for example, root shoots, but also to the emergence of resistant biotypes of weeds. Therefore, the development of new, more effective and safe herbicide combinations is still an urgent task.
A herbicidal composition for the protection of corn crops is known from the prior art, containing florasulam and nicosulfuron in a weight ratio from 2:1 to 180:1 (RF patent RU 2574742 C1, class A01N 47/28, published 02/10/2016, bulletin no. 4). However, this composition is not effective enough against some weeds, in particular, hairy pea, knotweed, knotweed, common cocklebur, garden sow thistle, field bindweed, field bindweed, Tartary lettuce and others.
The Chinese application CN 107593712 A (cl. A01N 41/10, published on January 19, 2018) describes a herbicidal composition for the protection of grain crops based on aminopyralid and mesotrione in a weight ratio from 1:15 to 15:1, which can be made in form of various formulations. However, this combination of active ingredients is not effective enough against a number of annual and perennial weeds.
The closest analogue of the invention is the herbicidal composition described in patent EA 017226 B1 (cl. A01N 25/22, published 10/30/2012). The known combination contains mesotrione and nicosulfuron as active ingredients in a weight ratio of 2.5:1. This document also describes a method for controlling weeds in corn crops, which consists in treating the places where they grow with an effective amount of the specified composition. Based on the patented combination, a commercial preparation in the form of an oil dispersion was created and registered - ELUMIS (trademark of the Syngenta company). This drug is not effective enough against malicious root weeds (in particular, thistle, thistle, field bindweed), bedstraw and others.
The purpose of the present invention is to provide improved protection of grain crops against a wide range of weeds and increase productivity.
Disclosure of the invention
Кроме того, создаваемая гербицидная композиция не оказывает фитотоксического побочного действия применяемых действующих веществ в отношении обрабатываемых зерновых культур, без использования специальных защитных средств (антидотов).The technical result consists in creating a synergistic composition that is effective against annual and perennial dicotyledons, as well as cereal weeds that infest grain crops, in particular corn. In addition, the created herbicidal composition does not have phytotoxic side effects of the active substances used in relation to the treated grain crops, without the use of special protective agents (antidotes).
(2÷70):(1÷40):(0,1÷6).The object of the present invention is a herbicidal composition for the protection of corn crops, containing mesotrione (I), nicosulfuron (II) and aminopyralide (III). The mass ratios of the components 1:11:111 are in the range (2÷70):(1÷40):(0.1÷6).
The authors unexpectedly discovered that in the indicated ranges of mass ratios a synergistic effect appears, i.e. The ranges of ratios of active ingredients at which such a composition is synergistically effective have been found.
The claimed composition is the most effective and has a wider spectrum of action against annual and perennial weeds, including cereals, compared to known combinations/preparations. In addition, the combination of three active ingredients with different mechanisms of action from different chemical classes in a herbicidal composition does not cause resistance in weeds.
Действующие вещества, входящие в состав патентуемой комбинации, известны из справочника «The Pesticide Manual», 17th edition, BCPC, UK, 2015 г.: мезотрион (с.720, №521), никосульфурон (с.795, №573), аминопиралид (с.40, №29).The active ingredients included in the patented combination are known from the reference book “The Pesticide Manual”, 17th edition, BCPC, UK, 2015: mesotrione (p. 720, no. 521), nicosulfuron (p. 795, no. 573), aminopyralid (p. 40, no. 29).
Mesotrione is a member of a class of HPPD inhibitors that work by inhibiting the plant enzyme 4-hydroxyphenylpyruvate dioxygenase. In plants, HPPD is required for carotenoid biosynthesis. Carotenoids, in turn, protect chlorophyll from destruction by sunlight. Mesotrione prevents the formation of carotenoids, resulting in the decomposition of chlorophyll, which leads to the death of the plant.
Nicosulfuron inhibits the production of the enzyme acetolactate synthase, which is involved in the synthesis of essential amino acids: leucine, isoleucine and valine, which occurs in chloroplasts. Violation of the biosynthesis of amino acids leads to protein deficiency, which causes a disruption in the process of cell division, growth arrest and subsequent death of weeds.
Aminopyralid is a hormone-like herbicide. Being a synthetic form of growth hormones, the herbicide replaces the plant's natural hormones, blocking their functions. Oversaturation with synthetic hormones leads to significant disruption of growth processes in plants and their death.
The claimed herbicidal composition, once on the weed leaves and soil as a result of spraying, quickly spreads throughout the plant. The growth of weeds slows down within a few hours after they absorb the combined pesticide: their growth points become discolored, then the entire plant becomes discolored, and tissues die. Complete death of weeds occurs within 1-2 weeks from the moment of treatment, depending on weather conditions and the species composition of the weeds. Weeds that are overgrown or less sensitive to the herbicide do not die, but stop further development and do not affect the crop yield. The composition destroys annual dicotyledonous and cereal weeds, prevents perennial rhizomatous and root shoots from growing, and inhibits the emergence of annual dicotyledonous weeds that were not treated during the entire herbocritical period of corn development.
The action of the proposed herbicidal composition extends, in particular, to such weeds as ragweed (species), hemlock, chickweed, hairy vetch, small-flowered galinsoga, amphibian knotweed, field mustard, knotweed (species), field pea (pelushka), delphinium (species), white napkin, common cocklebur, datura common, fumes, Theophrastus, weedy hemp, clover (species), cinquefoil, compass lettuce, quinoa (species), field buttercup, white pigweed, Canadian small petal, whorled molluscum, sow thistle (species), dandelion, buttercup (species), black nightshade, prickly nightshade, Carolina nightshade, common pickleweed, purslane, bedstraw, sunflower (carrion), millet, wheatgrass, field radish, white radish, common rapeseed . field horsetail, field horsetail (from spores), sow thistle (species), Indian eleusina, barnyard grass (chicken millet), blue bristle grass, green bristle grass, hairy millet, blood-red crabgrass, Aleppo sorghum (gumai), creeping wheatgrass and others.

Suspension concentrate (SC) is a concentrated suspension of active ingredients in water in the form of a viscous liquid mass. Before use, SC is diluted in water. The suspension concentrate is prepared by grinding a mixture of active ingredients with a diluent, surfactant and defoamer in bead mills until the required solid particle size is achieved. After grinding, an acidity regulator and/or thickener is added to the suspension, if necessary.
Below are examples and results of biological tests.
Example 1. Evaluation of the synergistic effect of the composition in laboratory conditions
Опыт проводили в лаборатории искусственного климата при следующем режиме работы камер: длительность дня - 16 часов, ночи - 8 часов, освещенность в дневные часы -15000 Лк, температура воздуха - 20°С, относительная влажность - 75%.The experiment was carried out in an artificial climate laboratory with the following chamber operating modes: day length - 16 hours, night length - 8 hours, daytime illumination - 15000 Lux, air temperature - 20 ° C, relative humidity - 75%.
White pigweed and gray bristleweed were used as test objects. These plants are representatives of families that include profiling weeds in agroclimatic zones of corn cultivation.
To conduct the experiment, the active ingredients (mesotrione, nicosulfuron and aminopyralid with different weight ratios) were pre-dispersed in mineral oil. We received 6 samples. Before processing the plants, the resulting samples of oil dispersion were diluted with water to obtain working solutions.
Test plants were grown in growing vessels filled with soddy-podzolic soil, sand and peat. Next, the plants were culled, removing the largest and smallest specimens.
Test plants were treated during the development phase of the second leaf. To treat the test plants, we used a laboratory installation LU 1.01 with a monodisperse disk sprayer designed by VIZR.
1.The ground mass of plants was counted 10 days after treatment. The herbicidal effect (BE fact ) of the options was assessed by the percentage reduction in above-ground biomass of treated plants relative to the control, where 0 corresponds to the absence of damage, and 100 corresponds to the complete destruction of the test plant. The results are presented in Table 1.
(COLBY L.R. "Calculating synergistic and antagonistic responses of herbicide combinations" ("Расчет синергетического и антагонистического ожидаемого действия смесей гербицидов"; Weeds 15, с. 20-22, 1967), (LIMPEL et al. 1962 " Weeds control by certain combinations". Proc. NEWCL. vol.16, pp.48-53):The efficiency for a mixture of three biologically active substances in% was calculated using the Colby formula and determined as follows (COLBY L.R. “Calculating synergistic and antagonistic responses of herbicide combinations”; Weeds 15, pp. 20-22 , 1967), (LIMPEL et al. 1962 “Weeds control by certain combinations.” Proc. NEWCL. vol.16, pp.48-53):
БЭрасч=(X+Y+Z)-((X×Y+X×Z+Y×Z)/100)+(X×Y×Z/10000)BE calculation =(X+Y+Z)-((X×Y+X×Z+Y×Z)/100)+(X×Y×Z/10000)
X, Y, Z.BE calculated - calculated biological effectiveness when using active ingredients X, Y, Z together.
X is the biological effectiveness of the active ingredient X (mesotrione) at the same consumption rate that is used in the mixture.
Y is the biological effectiveness of the active ingredient Y (nicosulfuron) at the same consumption rate that is used in the mixture.
Z is the biological effectiveness of the active ingredient Z (aminopyralid) at the same consumption rate that is used in the mixture.
The synergy index (BE actual /BE calculated ), having a value greater than 1, indicates synergy. An SI of 1 indicates additivity. When IC is less than 1, antagonism is detected.
композиции в отношении однолетних двудольных сорняков (на примере мари белой) составляет 100%, а в отношении однолетних злаковых сорняков (на примере щетинника сизого) - 95%.Analysis of the experimental data given in Table 1 showed the following. For a composition containing active ingredients in the declared ratios (samples 1-6), the actual biological effectiveness is higher than that calculated using the Colby formula, and the synergy index is greater than 1. i.e. there is a synergistic effect. The actual biological effectiveness (BE fact. ) of the composition against annual dicotyledonous weeds (using the example of white pigweed) is 100%, and against annual cereal weeds (using the example of blue foxtail) - 95%.

86%.From the presented data in Tables 3 and 4 it is clear that the herbicide composition with a mass ratio of components of 1:11:111, equal to (2÷70):(1÷40):(0.1÷6), exceeds the standard (Elumis) in terms of biological effectiveness: 30 days after treatment, complete destruction is observed in relation to annual dicotyledonous weeds, and in relation to annual cereal weeds - biological effectiveness is more than 92%. In addition, the herbicidal composition, according to the invention, most effectively combats perennial dicotyledonous weeds, while exhibiting a soil effect: biological efficiency before harvesting is not lower than 86%.
5.Productivity was determined by weighing the grain obtained from 1 hectare of treated surface and comparing the obtained value with the value obtained in the control.
