Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the field of veterinary mycology and sanitation, in particular to the prevention of alimentary calf mycotoxicosis.
Cows that use mycotoxin-contaminated feed are more likely to develop diseases such as ketosis, delayed placenta, metritis, mastitis, and fatty liver. Changes in the body caused by mycotoxins rarely respond to veterinary therapy and lead to an increase in productivity losses. The treatment of this disease is not well developed and very expensive, so much attention is paid to prevention.
A known method, which includes adding to the feed powdered charcoal obtained from birch, in an amount of 2% by weight of feed [RU 2340205 C1, A23K 1/00 (2006.01), A23K 1/16 (2006.01), 12/10/2008 ]. The disadvantage of this method is the low selectivity for toxins. At high dosages, the binding of vitamins and other substances necessary for the full growth and development of young animals occurs.
In calves up to six months of age with a weakly active and unformed scar, mycotoxins are especially dangerous, as harmful toxins do not break down in the rumen.
Known for the prevention of poisoning of animals with mold toxins is a method of individual oral administration of the drug “Sahabactisubtil” at a dose of 10 ml per day / day of young cattle [RU 2297842 C2, A61K 35/66 (2006.01), 04/27/2008]. The disadvantage of this method is the difficulty of issuing the drug to an animal.
A known method is the addition of choline-chloride (60%) in the amount of 6.3 kg / t to the mycotoxin-contaminated feed of an animal [RU 2361603 C1, A61K 38/00 (2006.01), 07/20/2009]. The disadvantage of this method are large dosages per ton of feed.
In connection with the foregoing, the basis of the invention is the task, which is to develop a method for the prevention of mycotoxicosis for calves, which allows to increase productivity and improve the physiological condition of animals.
This is achieved with the method, which consists in introducing a mineral sorbent consisting of diatomaceous earth, bentonite, inactivated yeast cells Saccharomyces cerevisae, milk thistle extract, brown alga Ascophyllum nodosum - “Mycofix Plus 3.E”, into 5 grams contaminated feed of calves goal / day
1.Case Study 1.
1.The work was carried out on the farm of the Belgorod region on 30 calves of black-motley breed with an average age of 13 days, 15 animals in each group. The diet of the experimental calves corresponded to detailed feeding standards. The experimental design is shown in table 1.
Calves growth indicators (based on live weight) were evaluated by weighing them twice - before setting up the experiment and after it. There have also been studies of feed for the presence of mycotoxins.
At the beginning and at the end of the experiment, five calves from each group, 2-3 hours after morning feeding, were sampled from the middle tail vein.
In blood samples, biochemical and general clinical blood parameters were determined.
2.As a result of the research feed, the following results were obtained, which are presented in table 2.
The table shows the standards for the content of mycotoxins based on the recommendations of the Commission (EC) No. 566/2006 of August 17, 2006 on the content of deoxynivalenol, zearalenone, ochratoxin A, T-2 and NT-2 toxins and fumonisins in products intended for animal feeding. As can be seen from the data in table 2, the content of mycotoxins complies with the standards, but the presence of more than 3 mycotoxins in one feed creates the conditions for the summation of negative effects, in this regard, there can be many combinations of synergistic and additive interactions of mycotoxins in the feed.
According to the results of weighing calves, presented in table 3, the conclusions are made:
103%.So, over the period of the experiment in calves, the average live weight of the control group increased by 82.4%, and the experimental - by 103%.
The average daily gain in live weight of calves of the experimental group was 930 g, which is 20.9 (P <0.05)% more than in the control.
The safety of calves in all groups was 100%.
4, 5.The introduction of Mikofiks Plus 3.E had a positive effect on the biochemical composition of the blood of experimental calves. The results of the assessment of biochemical parameters of blood serum of experimental calves are shown in tables 4, 5.
Количество лейкоцитов в опытной группе снижалось относительно контроля на 44,3% (Р<0,05).From the data of table 4 it is seen that in the calves of the experimental group, the hemoglobin concentration in the blood at the end of the experiment was significantly higher than the control by 12.3% (P <0.05), erythrocytes - 14.7% (P <0.05). The number of leukocytes in the experimental group decreased relative to the control by 44.3% (P <0.05).
5).The use of “Mycofix Plus 3.E” had a normalizing effect on the leukogram of experimental calves (Table 5).
Из таблицы 5 видно, что процентное содержание лимфоцитов опытной группы нормализовалось и увеличивалось относительно контроля на 57% (Р<0,05).From table 5 it is seen that the percentage of lymphocytes of the experimental group normalized and increased relative to the control by 57% (P <0.05).
При анализе результатов биохимического исследования крови, описанных в таблице 6, видно, что за период опыта концентрация глюкозы в сыворотке крови телят опытной группы увеличилась относительно контроля на 49,2% (Р<0,05).When analyzing the results of the biochemical blood tests described in table 6, it is seen that over the period of the experiment, the concentration of glucose in the blood serum of the calves of the experimental group increased relative to the control by 49.2% (P <0.05).
At the end of the experiment, the activity of aspartate aminotransferase (AsAT) in calves of the experimental group decreased relative to the control by 45.7% (P <0.05), alanine aminotransferase (AlAT) - by 58.8% (P <0.05). For other indicators, there is a tendency to normalize them.
