Abstract

FIELD: package and storage.

Box is characterized by that it additionally contains second closing flaps (2) of the external surface of the box extending from the other two opposite sides of the upper face of the box and containing closing element (3, 4) for opening and closing the box any number of times, herewith second flaps (2) can be used for storing products or making orders prior to transportation or after it.

EFFECT: proposed is a box for storage and transportation.

Description

The present invention relates to a box for storage and transportation, in particular to a box that allows safe and sealed transport of products and which can also be used for storage and preparation of products, and the box can be opened and closed any number of times.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Currently, the products are transported mainly in cardboard boxes having closing flaps that allow tightly closing the boxes. To do this, put tape on the sash, put paper clips or apply glue.

The disadvantage of these known boxes for transportation is that they cannot be used as boxes for storage or for the preparation of orders (for a set of products). When the adhesive tape is removed, the closing flap may break, which prevents the box from being used as a storage box, which can be closed again without the use of new adhesive tape, paper clips or glue.

These known shipping boxes do not have any closing element, and therefore, even if their closing flaps are not damaged when the adhesive tape is removed, the box cannot be opened and closed many times, which is necessary when using the box as a storage box or for preparing orders (for product suite).

Typically, food storage boxes are used to transport products, but they cannot be closed well, which causes dust and dirt to get into the box, and it also takes time to constantly seal and print the boxes.

Currently, there are boxes with external shutters for opening and closing them, but these shutters will inevitably be damaged if, for transport purposes, they were fastened with adhesive tape, paper clips or glue, so that the box cannot be used for its original purpose.

If the box is properly closed, for example with adhesive tape, paper clips, glue or the like, the opening and closing operation must be carried out whenever the user needs access to the box, which may be required constantly.

Boxes containing two groups of leaves are known, but they cannot be used as boxes for transportation and storage in a certain sequence, i.e. first as boxes for transportation and then as boxes for storage, or vice versa.

For example, patent FR 1189297 describes a cardboard container comprising several first closing flaps and second flaps that are used to form a handle. Unlike the box according to the invention, this container is not a packaging box, but a basket, the upper leaves of which form a handle that facilitates handling of the box.

In patent FR 1578148 a packaging box is described whose appearance makes it easy to recognize whether it was opened unauthorizedly, but which is not intended for “double” use. This box cannot be used for several transportations, since it cannot be re-sealed due to the fact that some of its wings open immediately after its use. In addition, due to the locking method with the protrusion inserted into the slot, the box can be opened by pressing from above and it is difficult to close it before transporting or when it is full, since the inner flaps or the contents of the box make it difficult to insert the protrusion into the slot.

US Pat. No. 1,869,742 describes a box containing two groups of flaps. These flaps are intended to be used in only one way, with some internal flaps serving as the basis for gluing additional flaps onto them. This box, once used, cannot be reused as a storage box, since when opening it, the inner wings open.

US 2003/0201315 describes a box containing two groups of flaps. Unlike the box according to the invention, two groups of flaps of this known box are used to seal it, and it is intended for transportation.

Therefore, there is a need for a box that can be used for transportation or transportation, and for storage or for preparing orders, and vice versa, and which can be sealed for transportation and at the same time can be conveniently opened and closed, if necessary, when used in as a box for storage or for preparing orders (for a set of products).

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

Box for storage and transportation, made according to the invention, is devoid of these disadvantages and has other advantages, which will be described below.

The box for storage and transportation according to the invention contains the first closing flaps of the outer surface of the box, which extend from two opposite sides of its upper edge and can be fastened with adhesive tape, paper clips or glue to perform one or more transportations, while the box is different in that it also contains second closing flaps of the outer surface of the box, extending from two other opposite sides of the upper edge of the box and containing a closing element for opening and closing the box and any number of times, the second flap can be used for food storage or cooking orders before transportation or thereafter.

The box according to the invention is conveniently used for transporting products thanks to the first closing leaves and for storing products or preparing orders (a set of products) thanks to the second closing leaves.

In particular, an advantage of the box according to the invention is the possibility of its single or multiple use as a box for transportation and storage in any order, i.e. first as boxes for transportation and then as boxes for storage, or vice versa. Unlike other known boxes, the proposed box can be used for transportation several times while maintaining its alternative function as a storage box, so that a universal box is obtained.

The first closing shutters for transportation are preferably dimensioned such that in the closed position they are at least substantially in contact with one another with their opposite ends.

In this case, the first closing shutters for transportation can partially or completely overlap each other in their closed position.

According to one embodiment of the invention, the distance between the opposite ends of the first closing flaps is equal to or less than 6 cm, so that the first flaps can always be glued with adhesive tape.

If desired, one of the first closing shutters for transportation may contain a tear strip to facilitate opening the box when it is closed by the first closing shutters.

In this case, the tear strip in the closed position of the box is on top of the other first closing flap for transportation.

If desired, a double-sided adhesive tape may be provided on one of the first closing shutters for transportation to facilitate closing of the first closing shutters.

Alternatively, if desired, a second double-sided adhesive tape can be glued to the opposite shutter of the first closing shutters, which allows the box to be reused for transportation, turning it into a reusable box.

According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, a closing element is an element that allows the box to be opened and closed any number of times without the use of adhesive tape, paper clips or glue.

For example, the closure element may allow the opposing ends of the second storage flaps to engage. In this case, the closing element has at least a slot on each of the opposite ends of the second leaflets for engaging the second leaflets through these slots.

According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the closure element of the second closure flaps comprises several tongues adapted to be connected to each other through said coupling slots provided on each flap. However, according to this embodiment, the closure element can be any closure element that makes it possible to engage the opposite ends of the second leaflets with each other, since this type of closure by engagement allows the box to be effectively closed when it is full and the first closing leafs are inside it. Due to the fact that the box can be in the closed position, and with the first closing shutters inside, covering the entire opening of the box, it can be successfully used for storage, since the first closing shutters protect the entire contents of the box. On the other hand, the clutch closing method has the advantage of increasing the stability of the boxes when stacking in comparison with conventional boxes, since during transport the interlocked doors are inside the box, even when the box is half full. Closing with a clutch provides high mechanical resistance to collapse.

One of the tongues of the closure element preferably has a fold line, which facilitates opening and closing of the box.

As indicated above, the advantage of the proposed box is the strength when stacking, as well as the security of the contents of the box due to the fact that the sashes are always located one on the other, so that the top side of the box always has a double thickness of the material. This is especially important, for example, when cutting the sealing element on the box used for transportation, since if it were not for this double thickness, it would be possible to accidentally cut the contents of the box. In addition, the box can be closed by two groups of leaves, even if it is completely filled.

According to one embodiment of the invention, the box has several faces forming a substantially parallelepipedal body, comprising said first flaps for transportation on two opposite sides of the upper face of said body and said second flaps for storage on two other opposite sides of this upper face, the sum of the lengths (11, 11 ') of the first wings

- equal to the length (L2) of the sides of the box that contain the second sash,

or

- more than the length (L2) of the sides of the box that contain the second sashes, or

- is equal to the difference between the length (L2) of the sides of the box, which contain the second leaflets (2), and the separation distance equal to or less than 7.5 cm, preferably equal to or less than 6 cm, and this distance always guarantees the possibility of sealing the first leaflets with adhesive tape.

According to the same embodiment, at least one of said second closing flaps for storage extends from one side of the upper face of said body to a distance (12) greater than half the length (L1) of the other two sides of the face that contain the first flaps for transportation. This ensures the correct configuration of the closing element.

The sides of the upper face of said body, from which the first and second wings are extending, preferably have cuts that are essentially in a straight line when the box is disassembled.

The box or body in the form of a parallelepiped is preferably formed from a blank cut from a sheet material.

The sheet material is preferably a paper pulp or made of paper pulp, for example, is a cardboard.

According to the present invention, the operation of storing or preparing products means an operation in which the box is filled with products and closed for storage with the help of second closing flaps containing a closing element that allows you to open and close the box as many times as needed, without having to seal it with adhesive tape, paper clips or glue. Under the operation of transportation means an operation in which the box is filled with products and for transportation is closed using the first leaves using sealing elements, such as adhesive tape, glue or paper clips.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION

As shown in figure 1, the box according to the invention is a body having the shape of a parallelepiped, which is made of sheet material, such as cardboard. The upper edge of the box contains two groups of closing flaps on the outer surface of the box: the first pair of closing flaps 1 for using the box as a box for transportation or transportation, and the second pair of closing flaps 2 for using the box as a storage box.

The second closing leaves 2 contain a closing element, which makes it easy to open and close the box as many times as needed, and to engage the opposing ends of the second leaves, providing effective closing of the box in its filled state, while the first closing leaves are not damaged and are inside the box ( see figures 3 and 4).

In this embodiment of the invention, said closing element is formed in each leaf 2 by a central tongue 3 and two side tongues 4, which can be attached to the tongues of the opposite leaf 2 through the coupling slots 8 made in each leaf 2.

One of the central reeds 3 has a fold line 5, which facilitates opening and closing of the box by means of the second closing flaps 2.

Although the closing element with tongues 3, 4 is shown in the drawings, this element may be different, but should allow opening and closing the box as many times as needed.

It should also be noted that to facilitate transportation, the box may have openings 5 for hand grip, although the presence of such openings 5 is not essential.

Figure 2-4 shows the process of closing the box according to the invention when used as a storage box. Opening the box is carried out in the reverse order compared to closing it.

As shown in FIG. 2, the first closing flaps 1 are first folded inward, which serve to increase the stiffness of the lid.

Then, the second closing flaps 2 are folded, while the tongues 3, 4 interlock in a complementary manner (Fig. 3).

In Fig. 4, the box is shown in the closed position when used as a box for preparing orders (for a set of products). For this application, no additional closing element is required which is not part of the box, since the box can be closed by the closing element of the second closing flaps 2.

This prevents the ingress of dirt and dust into the box and, it can be opened and closed as many times as you like, and it also saves time opening and closing the box when preparing orders.

If the box is used for transportation, then first you need to bend the second closing sash 2 in their essentially horizontal position, as shown in Fig.5.

Then, for transportation, the first closing flaps 1 are folded into their essentially horizontal position (see FIG. 6).

Figure 6 shows that the first closing flaps 1 for transportation should essentially cover the entire upper surface of the box, so that you can perform one or more shipments.

The first closing flaps 1 for transportation are preferably made the same and are in contact with each other with their opposite ends. However, there may be a gap between the ends of the first closing flaps 1 large enough for the sealing element to be applied, such as adhesive tape, i.e. this gap should be practically no more than 6 cm.

Although not shown in FIG. 6, adhesive tape is applied to opposing ends, paper clips are installed, glue or any other element is used to seal the box.

To open a closed box, which is used for transportation or transportation, you must first remove the adhesive tape or other element that was sealed box. It is possible that after removing the adhesive tape, paper clips, glue or other sealing element, the first closing flaps 1 will be damaged, but this is not a problem for the box according to the invention, since for closing it when used as a storage box or for preparing orders (for product set) second closing flaps 2 are used.

If desired, the first sash 1 for transportation can be of such a size that their ends overlap each other, as shown in Fig.7-10.

Figures 7 and 8 show a second embodiment of a box according to the invention.

The main difference between this option and the one shown in figures 1-6 is the presence of a tear strip 6 to facilitate opening the box when it is used as a box for transportation. The tear strip is bounded by two cut lines.

In this case, in the closed position, the tear strip 6 is located on top of the other first closing leaf 1.

In addition, in this second embodiment, one of the first closing flaps 1 comprises a double-sided adhesive tape 7 located on the inner surface of this flap 1. The double-sided adhesive tape 7 makes it possible to conveniently attach the first closing flaps 1 to each other. For this, the first closing flaps 1 must partially or completely overlap each other.

To remove the tear-off strip 6 at one of its ends there is a gripping zone, by pulling which you can easily remove the tear-off tape.

Shown in figures 9 and 10, the third embodiment of the box is very similar to the considered second option. The only difference between the third option is that the tear strip 6 is formed by a thread strong enough to tear the cardboard of the first closing leaf 1. In this embodiment, one of the first closing leaf 1 also contains a double-sided adhesive tape 7.

It should be noted that the edges of the proposed box are obtained by cutting the sheet forming the box with an anti-cut tape. Therefore, the ends have a rough profile, so that the user can not cut himself when handling the box.

The bottom of the box can be any, and therefore it is not described.

11 shows in plan a disassembled box according to the invention, which in the assembled state is a body having the shape of a parallelepiped. 11 shows that the cuts 9 of the sides of the upper face of the parallelepiped, which contains the closing flaps 1, 2, are in one straight line. As indicated in the description of the invention, the location of the cuts 9 on the same line facilitates the use of two pairs of flaps to close the outer surface of the box in any of its use.

11 shows the length 11, 11 'and 12 of the protruding part of the first closing flaps 1 and the second closing flaps 2, respectively, as well as the length L1 and L2 of the sides of the box, from which the flaps 1, 2 extend.

As stated in the description of the invention and shown in FIG. 11, in order for the shutters 1 to be transported to be sealed with adhesive tape, it is important that the sum of the lengths 11, 11 ′ of the first shutters:

- was equal to the length L2 of the sides of the box that contain the second sash 2, or

- was longer than the length L2 of the sides of the box that contain the second leaf 2, or

- was equal to the length L2 of the sides of the box, which contain the second leaflets 2, minus the separation distance equal to or less than 7.5 cm, preferably equal to or less than 6 cm

Although the embodiments of the invention have been described above, it will be apparent to those skilled in the art that various changes and modifications of the described box for storage and transportation are possible and that all of its elements can be replaced with technically equivalent elements within the scope of the invention defined by its claims.

Claims (19)

1. Box for storage and transportation, containing the first closing sash (1) of the outer surface of the box, which extend from the two opposite sides of its upper face and can be fastened with adhesive tape, paper clips or glue to perform one or more shipments, characterized in that it also contains second closing flaps (2) of the outer surface of the box, extending from two other opposite sides of the upper edge of the box and containing a closing element (3, 4) for opening and closing the box many times, while m second flaps (2) are used to store products or prepare orders before or after transportation, while the closing element (3, 4) of the second flaps (2) is adapted to engage their opposite ends, and the closing element contains at least along the slot (8) on each of the opposite ends of the second cusps (2), and the slots (8) allow the second cusps (2) to mesh with each other, however, the box has several faces that form the body essentially in the form of a parallelepiped, containing the first leaflets (1) for transportation on two opposite sides of the upper face of the specified body and the second leaflets (2) for storage on two other opposite sides of this upper face, and the sum of the lengths (11, 11 ') of the first wings (1) - equal to the length (L2) of the sides of the box that contain the second sash (2), or - more than the length (L2) of the sides of the box that contain the second sash (2), or - is equal to the length (L2) of the sides of the box that contain the second leaflets (2), minus the separation distance equal to or less than 7.5 cm, and the specified distance always guarantees the possibility of sealing the first leaflets (1) with adhesive tape. 2. A box for storage and transportation according to claim 1, in which the first closing flaps (1) for transportation are of such dimensions that in the closed position, they are at least substantially in contact with one another with their opposite ends. 3. A box for storage and transportation according to claim 2, in which the first closing flaps (1) for transportation partially or completely overlap one another in their closed position. 4. Box for storage and transportation according to claim 1, in which the distance between the opposite ends of the first closing flaps (1) is equal to or less than 6 cm, so that the first flaps (1) can always be glued with adhesive tape. 5. A box for storage and transportation according to claim 3, in which one of the first closing flaps (1) for transportation contains a tear strip (6). 6. Box for storage and transportation according to claim 5, in which the tear strip (6) in the closed position of the box is on top of the other first closing flap (1) for transportation. 7. Box for storage and transportation according to claim 3, in which one of the first closing flaps (1) for transportation contains double-sided adhesive tape (7). 8. Box for storage and transportation according to claim 1, in which the closure element of the second closing flaps (2) for storage contains several reeds (3, 4), made with the possibility of connection with each other through these coupling slots (8) available on each leaf (2). 9. Box for storage and transportation according to claim 8, in which one of the tongues (3) of the closing element has a fold line (5). 10. A box for storage and transportation according to claim 1, having several faces that form the body essentially in the form of a parallelepiped, at least one of these second closing flaps (2) for storage moves away from one side of the upper face of the specified body at a distance ( 12), greater than half the length (L1) of the other sides of the face that contain the first leaves (1) for transportation. 11. A box for storage and transportation according to claim 1 or 10, in which the sides of the upper face of the specified body, from which the indicated first leaves (1) and second leaves (2) extend, have cuts (9) that are essentially on one straight line lines when the box is taken apart. 12. The method of using the box according to any one of paragraphs. 1-11, in which: covering the outer surface of the box with the first leaves when using the box as a shipping box, and cover the outer surface of the box with second flaps when using the box as a storage box.
