SUBSTANCE: invention relates to food industry and may be used for production of a high-quality biologically active additive applied as food to prevent asthenoneurotic conditions (such as sleep disorders, emotional lability) as well as for production of functional food products. The biologically active food additive is represented by phyto tea mixture of milled medicinal plant raw materials. The phyto tea mixture contains nine components: paeonia anomala rootstock, ruta graveolens herb, willow weed flowers, garden balm herb, blood-red hawthorn flowers, blood-red hawthorn berries, cinnamon rose fruits, blackcurrant leaves, field caraway fruits, at a weight part ratio equal to 2:1:1:2:1:2:2:2:1 respectively.

EFFECT: invention allows to manufacture a new biologically active food additive with pleasant organoleptic properties which positively affects the total organism condition, enhances mood, normalises sleep, enhances resistance to stressful situations.

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The invention relates to the food and medical industries and can be used to produce high-quality biologically active additives (BAA) used in food as a prophylaxis of asthenoneurotic conditions (sleep disorders, emotional lability), as well as to create functional food products. Dietary supplement is a phytosolving of crushed medicinal plant material that contains nine components: rhizome of peony evasive, odorous herb of root, flowers of narrow-leaved fireweed, herb of lemon balm, flowers of blood-red hawthorn, fruits of blood-red hawthorn, fruits of May rose, blackcurrant leaves, the fruits of ordinary cumin in the ratio, parts by weight, 2: 1: 1: 2: 1: 2: 2: 2: 1, respectively. The crushed phyto-collection is packaged in filter bags.

Food supplements are a source of glycosides (salicin, vitexin), flavonoids, furocoumarins, vitamins, trace elements, organic acids, essential oils and have a sedative effect.

The proposed food supplement can be used in the food industry for the targeted production of new products with high biological value and properties.

The aim of the invention is the creation of effective and convenient to use dietary supplements to food sedative, with pleasant organoleptic properties.

State of the art

Currently known sedative formulations from raw materials of plant origin based on motherwort, hops, valerian, including in the form of tinctures of valerian, peony, mint, motherwort.

Known drugs with a similar effect: Novopassit, Persen, etc., many of which are produced by foreign companies. The vast majority of drugs are aimed at correcting the symptoms of a psychoemotional, somatic and vegetovascular nature.

Since many modern psychotropic drugs (sedatives, anticonvulsants, antidepressants) have a large number of side effects and have limitations in their application, the proposed sedative dietary supplement could act as an alternative solution to the problem of preventing the initial manifestations of asthenoneurotic conditions. Supplements based on natural components have low toxicity, relative cheapness, virtually no side effects, ease of manufacture, which makes it available to the general population.

Known RF patent No. 2185186, A61K 35/78 "Gathering for the restoration of strength." This collection contains hawthorn flowers, leaves and flowers of black currant, leaves and flowers of primrose and St. John's wort in a ratio of 1/3: 2: 1: 1. The collection has a pronounced antimicrobial, restorative, cold, expectorant, emollient, sedative effects and reduces blood cholesterol.

Closest to the claimed dietary supplement is considered "Collection of medicinal plants for the treatment of neurosis and neurasthenia" (RF patent for the invention RU (11) 2174005 (13) C1). The composition of the collection includes: medicinal lemon balm herb, peppermint, heartwort, thyme ordinary, oregano, perforated St. John's wort, white yarrow, yarrow, common wormwood, medicinal sweet clover, blood red hawthorn flowers, medicinal calendula, medicinal chamomile, inflorescence x ordinary, the roots and rhizomes of Valerian officinalis, the roots of the evading peony, the smell of dill fruits in the following proportions: 1.5: 1.5: 1.5: 1.5: 1.0: 1.0: 1.0: 1.0 : 1.0: 1.0: 1.5: 1.0: 1.0: 1.5: 1.0: 1.0: 1.0 respectively. New and significant in dietary supplement for food is a balanced composition, which includes these components in the optimal ratio, which allows you to mutually complement each other and enhance the action in the complex. The dietary supplement contains two components with a predominantly sedative effect: the rhizome of the evading peony and the odorous rue grass, which together with the medicinal lemon balm, narrow-leaved fireweed, rose hips and caraway seeds, flowers and hawthorn fruits help to relieve psychological stress and allow the use of dietary supplements in the initial manifestations of asthenoneurotic conditions .

A biologically active food supplement has a multidisciplinary effect on the body:

- rose hips fruits containing carotenoids of the lycopene group, vitamins C, P, K, E, catechins, flavonoids, essential oil, trace elements, are effective for hypovitaminosis, have general strengthening and antioxidant effects;

- leaves of blackcurrant with a high content of ascorbic acid (0.25%) have a pronounced general strengthening effect: they increase redox processes in the body, activate a number of enzyme systems, stabilize the content of adrenaline, catecholamines, stimulate the synthesis of hormones, favorably affect carbohydrate metabolism, vascular permeability;

- essential oil of caraway fruits, which includes carvone, has an antispasmodic, anti-inflammatory effect.

The sedative effect of the proposed dietary supplement is realized both by a direct effect on the cerebral cortex, and through the regulatory effect of the central nervous system, humoral factors on the pituitary-adrenaline system, and the thyroid gland through the autonomic nervous system. This is due to the inclusion in the dietary supplement of the rhizome of the peony of the evasion, the grass of the root, the flowers and fruits of the hawthorn blood-red, the soothing effect of which is enhanced by the presence in the collection of herbs lemon balm, fireweed narrow-leaved. These plants also have the ability to reduce the number of heart contractions, dilate peripheral vessels, and tone the heart muscle. Such properties give a positive effect for the prevention of asthenoneurotic conditions.

Food supplements are obtained by mechanical mixing of pre-dried and ground medicinal plant materials (particle size 1.5-2 mm), followed by packing in filter bags.
