Abstract
Description
The invention relates to cumulative charges, in particular to methods for manufacturing copper cladding with a microcrystalline structure.
The main tasks in the field of technology and the invention is aimed at improving the manufacturability of the manufacture of cumulative facings (CO) and ensuring the effectiveness of their use in the construction of cumulative charges.
Known similar solutions aimed at solving the same problems, for example, a method of manufacturing a cumulative cladding and cladding made by this method according to patent GB No. 2257497 (publication of 01/13/93). The lining of the cumulative charge (KZ) is made of equal thickness, conical, of a copper alloy with an oxygen content of 0.03% and a grain size of 15 μm or less. The cladding is made in 4 stages. The first 3 stages include cold rolling from a bar into a plate, followed by annealing and obtaining a workpiece with a grain size of 15 μm. From the plate by means of a rotary hood, a lining with the required dimensions is obtained. Next, recrystallization annealing is performed at a temperature of 330 ° C and subsequent refinement, for example, by abrasive means. Annealing is carried out for 1 hour in an air-circulation furnace.
The disadvantages are the reduced effectiveness of the cumulative charge with the use of this cladding in connection with its shape and equal thickness (compared with the shape of the bell and the thickness difference), as well as the insufficient quality of the cladding associated with the use of an air-circulation furnace, because when used as a copper cladding material, the cladding material is inevitably saturated with oxygen, which negatively affects the level of armor penetration. In addition, there is an uneven deformation of the crystal lattice in the thickness of the lining.
There is another facing KZ and the method of its manufacture according to the patent of the Russian Federation No. 2253831 (publication of 06/10/05). Cladding KZ according to the patent contains a mixture of a powder of a heavy metal and a powdered metal binder, said cladding being molded into the desired shape by injection molding and sintering. Preferred forms of liners include conical, biconical, tulip-shaped, hemispherical, circular, linear and funnel-shaped.
The disadvantage of these known solutions is the inability to obtain a uniform density of the lining associated with the technology of their manufacture.
The closest analogue in the number of similar features and the problem to be solved to a new technical solution regarding the method of manufacturing the lining is the method of manufacturing an axisymmetric lining of the cumulative charge according to the patent of the Russian Federation No. 2180723 (publication of 03.20.02). According to this patent, KO is made of a copper plate by rotational drawing in two stages, followed by recrystallization annealing after each stage to restore the microstructure and give the material its original plasticity. In contrast to the known methods, including rotational drawing in one or more stages and one recrystallization annealing, in this patent each stage is carried out in two stages, changing the direction of rotation of the workpiece to the opposite, while at the same time they provide the same thinning of the workpiece, which creates conditions equal to material deformation at each stage, and its recrystallization annealing is carried out after each stage. The operation of the rotational hood is performed at the same speed of rotation of the workpiece and the same deformation force. To give the workpiece material the necessary plastic properties, the workpiece after each rolling step is subjected to recrystallization annealing, which restores the initial plasticity of the material and converts large grains elongated in the direction of deformation into small grains. The parameters of recrystallization annealing are selected experimentally for each cladding material. Next, the lining surface is refined for the further precision assembly of the cumulative charge by machining the outer surface of the lining on the machine until the necessary geometry is obtained.
The disadvantage of this method is the use of hoods in two stages, followed by annealing after each stage, which complicates the technology of manufacturing the cladding. It should also be noted that annealing is carried out in an air furnace, which can lead to the enrichment of copper with oxygen.
The closest analogue in terms of the number of similar features and the problem to be solved to a new technical solution regarding the design of the cladding is the cladding according to the patent of the Russian Federation 2262060 dated 08/12/04 “Cumulative charge” (publication of 10.10.05). The lining of the cumulative charge according to this patent is made by turning from a copper shell, in the form of a bell with an increase in thickness from the top to the base, from copper M1 with an oxygen content of 0.05% and an average grain size of more than 60 microns.
The disadvantage of this cladding is reduced dynamic ductility due to the use of copper M1 with a high oxygen content.
The technical result of the claimed invention is to increase the effectiveness of the cladding in the composition of the short circuit while increasing the manufacturability of its manufacture.
The specified technical result is achieved due to the fact that in the method of manufacturing the lining of the cumulative charge, including the rotational extraction of the workpiece from copper by deformation using a rolling roller when the workpiece is rotated together with the mandrel to give it the shape of the mandrel on the inner surface, subsequent recrystallization annealing and finishing of the lining surface for the further precision assembly of the cumulative charge, it is new that before the process of rotational drawing, blanking is performed on the workpiece by the cold method stamping, the size of which is selected in accordance with the size of the tip of the mandrel for fixing the workpiece on it during rotational drawing, while the speed of rotation of the workpiece is selected from 900 to 1500 rpm, depending on the final shapes and geometric dimensions of the lining, and the amount of movement of the rolling roller in the axial direction of the workpiece, from 0.01 to 0.05 mm is selected in one revolution, and annealing is carried out in an oxygen-free environment, after which the lining surface is finished by calibration in a closed volume by applying a static through the efforts of a deformable matrix.
Annealing can be carried out at a temperature of 335-385 ° C for 15-20 minutes.
The mandrel can be performed with grooves in the apex to form a keyway during the rotational drawing process.
An oxygen-free medium can be formed using a thermal vacuum furnace, inert gases, or brine.
When cold stamping is performed, the workpiece can be shaped into a cone and a thickness with an increase in thickness from the top to the base.
The process of rotary drawing can be carried out using a numerically controlled lathe equipped with a special clamp installed in the tailstock of the machine and a special design of the rolling roller installed in the tool holder.
And in the lining of the cumulative charge, including a copper shell in the form of a bell with an increase in thickness from the top to the base, it is new that the shell is made of copper with an oxygen content of not more than 0.001% and with a grain size of 30 ÷ 60 μm.
The stamping of the workpiece prior to the rotational drawing process to form the desired shape of the beetle, depending on the final shapes and geometrical dimensions of the cladding, allows the workpiece to be securely fixed on the mandrel during the rotational hood using a clamp, which prevents the workpiece from slipping off and ensures their joint rotation. In addition, during stamping, an initial change in the grain structure occurs, which is stretched along the surface, thereby providing the necessary further change in the grain structure during rotational drawing. It should also be noted that pre-stamping can provide, with small dimensions of the cladding, the desired grain structure when the workpiece rotates in only one direction.
The choice of workpiece rotation speed from 900 to 1500 rpm, depending on the final shapes and geometrical dimensions of the cladding, and the size of movement of the rolling roller in the axial direction for one workpiece revolution from 0.01 to 0.05 mm, is associated with ensuring the required uniformity and structure material of the workpiece, which subsequently provide the necessary characteristics of the cumulative charge with the lining made in this way. The indicated ranges were chosen experimentally.
The implementation of the mandrel used in the rotational drawing process, with grooves for forming a keyway at the top of the workpiece, allows to ensure the accuracy of the geometric dimensions of the facings in the conical part, this is especially true for large sizes of facings.
Carrying out annealing in a thermal vacuum furnace, or in an inert gas environment or in a saline solution, allows during the manufacturing process to exclude oxygen access to the cladding material and preserve the initial ratio of copper components.
Calibration allows you to ensure the accuracy of the geometric dimensions of the entire cladding.
The use of a closed volume and a deformable matrix avoids mechanical damage to the cladding and provides uniform pressure over the entire surface of the cladding.
The use of a numerically controlled lathe using a special clamp and a rolling roller allows you to vary the geometry of the facings.
Since the short-circuit performance depends on the density, ductility, microstructure of the material of which the SC is made, the implementation of a copper sheath with an oxygen content of not more than 0.001% and with a grain size of 30 ÷ 60 μm makes it possible to improve short-armor penetration by increasing the ductility of the copper lining. Facings with the specified structure and chemical composition can be produced in series, and they retain their properties during long-term storage.

In Fig.1, 2 - cold stamping with the formation of beetles for cladding small and large sizes, respectively; figure 3, 4 - stage rotational hoods for facings of small and large sizes, respectively; figure 5 - calibration stage, where 1 is the workpiece, 2 is the mandrel, 3 is the rolling roller, 4 is the rear clamp, 5 is the punch, 6 is the protective ring, 7 is the matrix, 8 is the clip, 9 is the running gear of the hydraulic press .
The inventive method consists of the following steps.
From a sheet (it is possible from a tape, strip) of copper by the method of cold stamping, an equal-thickness blank 1 is made with the formation of a beak (Fig. 1, 2). The size of the beetle corresponds to the size of the top of the mandrel 2 (Fig. 3), the mandrel is made horn-shaped with a surface profile corresponding to the desired final profile of the inner surface of the cladding. With relatively small final dimensions of the cladding, the workpiece is made with a flat surface, and with large sizes with a conical surface. When stamping, an initial change in the grain structure occurs, which is stretched along the surface of the
The cumulative charge lining made by the above method includes an axisymmetric copper shell with an increase in thickness from the top to the base, and the shell is made of copper with an oxygen content of not more than 0.001% and a grain size of 45 μm. The horn shaped cumulative lining has the advantage that the forming cumulative jet at the same throwing speeds of the lining will have a higher velocity of the head portion of the jet. At the same time, the angle of convergence of the cladding, increasing toward the base, allows a larger fraction (mass) of cladding material to be transferred to the jet than that of a traditional conical cladding. The cladding shape is made according to the patent of the Russian Federation No. 2262060. The execution of the shell of a copper alloy with an oxygen content of not more than 0.001% and with a grain size of 45 μm allows to improve the armor penetration of short-circuit by increasing the dynamic ductility of the lining and ensuring its dynamic strength.
Т. Thus, the inventive method allows for mass production of facings, the use of which in the short circuit allows to increase armor penetration.
