A known method of treating mental disorders using the method described in the patent of the Russian Federation No. 2332198 "Method of healing patients according to the method of Dr. Fedotovskaya", which use psychotherapeutic agents in combination with manual therapy methods in patients mainly with psychosomatic and / or mental disorders. A complex effect on the body is carried out using craniosacral therapy in combination with psychotherapy against the background of a narrowed consciousness, which is created by hypnosis.

However, the techniques of manual craniosacral therapy do not allow affecting the membranes of nerve cells and changing their charge, they do not lead to hypersynchronization of biopotentials and a change in intrahemispheric interactions.

A known method of treating neurosis, selected as a prototype (RF patent No. 2178287). The method is as follows.

This is achieved by the fact that in the method of treating neurosis according to the invention, the effect is carried out by a high-intensity magnetic field by conducting transcranial magnetic stimulation with a pulse duration of 250 μs and a magnetic field induction power of 30% to 60% of the maximum power of 4 T, with an increase of 10 % every two procedures, the duration of the session is gradually increased from 5 to 10 minutes, per course - 10 procedures, at the same time conduct a hypnosis session.

At the same time, the deep unhindered spread of the induction current allows you to affect the membranes of nerve cells, changing their charge. Eddy electric currents that occur in brain tissue under the influence of a high-intensity magnetic field lead to hypersynchronization of biopotentials, selective modulation of dopamine metabolism in certain areas of the cerebral cortex and a change in intrahemispheric interactions. The influence of a high-intensity magnetic field on the limbic region causes an antidepressant, anti-anxiety, calming effect, and increases the patient's hypnability. The advantages of the method compared to the use of laser acupuncture and percutaneous electroneurostimulation is that a high-intensity magnetic field is able to penetrate deeply and without changes through any anatomical structures by about 5 cm, respectively, to have a therapeutic effect on deep-seated tissues covered by bone and muscle formations. The impact is non-invasive, in conditions comfortable for the patient. Against the background of altered bioelectric activity of the brain under the influence of a high-intensity magnetic field, a therapeutic hypnosis session is conducted.

This allows you to significantly reduce the dose of psychotropic drugs, reduce the side effects of drug treatment, increase the patient's susceptibility to psychotherapeutic effects, provide a direct, non-drug sedative, antidepressant, anti-anxiety treatment effect and speed up the treatment process, reducing the patient’s hospital stay.

The method is as follows.

The patient takes a comfortable sitting position. Magnetic field exposure is performed using a MagPro stimulator (Medtronics, Denmark). An annular coil is located above the vertex level and in the occipital zone, followed by stimulation. At the same time, a hypnosis session lasting 30-40 minutes is carried out.

Example

Patient K., 35 years old, against the background of a traumatic situation, developed lingering depressive symptoms (within 1 year), and therefore was hospitalized in the psychotherapeutic department. Antidepressant therapy did not significantly improve the condition, side effects of psychopharmacotherapy appeared. High-intensity magnetic field therapy was prescribed by transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) in combination with hypnosis. Conducted 10 sessions.
