Abstract

FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to engine production, primarily to internal combustion engines. Proposed piston ICE with shuttle-type mechanism of returning main pistons initial position (SMRMPIP) comprises external mechanism of fuel mix compression, exhaust gas pump-out mechanism and ratchet-type mechanism converting piston translation into shaft rotation. Lengthwise axes of the main and return cylinders and rectilinear characteristics of SMRMPIP engine are located on axes of tangents to circle with its center aligned with ratchet shaft rotational axis. Cylinders are located are arranged around ratchet shaft, in equal angular distances, in the plane wherein ratchet shaft proper is located, and are attached on the engine frame. Main and return cylinders of every engine unit are arranged in opposition. Operating stroke of the main piston is synchronised with return stroke of return cylinder, while operating stroke of return piston coincides with return stroke of the main piston due to shuttle-like translation of the shuttle and pistons. Pawl is attached to every shuttle, that is, a ratchet shaft pushing dog, to impart rotation to aforesaid shaft. Combustion mix is forced into combustion chambers by separate piston-type compressor (PTC). Exhaust gases are drawn from the cylinders by another separate piston-type compressor (PTCEG).
EFFECT: maximum possible torque at relatively low angular speed of rotation.

Поршневой двигатель внутреннего сгорания с храповым валом и челночным механизмом возврата основных поршней в исходное положение (ПДВСХВЧМ), отличающийся тем, что он содержит внешний механизм сжатия горючей смеси, внешний механизм откачки отработанных газов, механизм преобразования поступательного движения поршней во вращение вала выполнен храповым, продольные оси основных и возвратных цилиндров и прямолинейные траектории хода основных и возвратных поршней всех блоков двигателя ПДВСХВЧМ расположены на осях, касательных к окружности, центр которой совпадает с осью вращения храпового вала, цилиндры расположены по периметру храпового вала через равные угловые пространства в той же основной плоскости, в какой находится сам храповой вал и крепятся на станине двигателя, основной и возвратный цилиндры каждого блока двигателя расположены оппозитно, основной и возвратный поршни жестко связаны между собой и находятся на одной оси, вместе составляя челнок, при этом рабочий ход основного поршня совпадает с возвратным ходом возвратного поршня, а рабочий ход возвратного поршня совпадает с возвратным ходом основного поршня в процессе челночных прямолинейных поступательных движений челнока и поршней, к каждому челноку крепится упор (собачка), толкающий зубец храпового вала, придавая храповому валу вращательное движение, горючая смесь нагнетается в камеры сгорания цилиндров под давлением, создаваемым отдельным поршневым компрессором (ПКСПД), а отработанные газы из цилиндров откачиваются другим отдельным поршневым компрессором (ПКСВОГД).
