Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the field of agriculture and can be used in the processing of sugar industry waste to obtain a valuable acquisition - vermicompost used to grow cultivated plants.
27.06.2005).A known method of producing vermicompost is to introduce a dung worm into a compost-containing substrate obtained by mixing beet pulp with lime, then the resulting mixture is mixed with garden soil in equal proportions and filler is added in the form of cut straw (RU 2255077, IPC 7 C05F 3/00, A01K 67/033, publ. 06/27/2005).
The disadvantages of this method are the need for land to stabilize the substrate and prevent its decay, lime to reduce the acidity of the soil. In addition, this method requires a rather large amount of land to mix the substrate.
The technical result is to ensure the complete utilization of beet waste, improving the nutritional properties of vermicompost and reducing the cost of its preparation.
The essence of the invention lies in the fact that in the method of producing vermicompost by introducing a dung worm into a compost-containing substrate, including beet pulp, a compost-containing substrate is obtained by mixing beet pulp with defecate in a ratio of 1: 3 by volume, then the resulting mixture is mixed, adjusted to a moisture content of 60- 70% at a temperature of 22-25 ° C, followed by the addition of a dung worm in an amount of 15-20 individuals per 1 liter of the obtained compost-containing substrate.
Defecate is the remains of plants, the precipitate after washing the beets, which, along with beet pulp, accumulates in the sugar industry.
If the humidity of the resulting mixture is less than 60%, then the living conditions for the dung worm will be unfavorable, more than 70% - the worms will suffocate from a lack of oxygen.
If the temperature is less than 22 ° C, the processing of the compost-containing substrate will be insufficient, above 25 ° C - dung worms will multiply intensively, but it is worse to process the compost-containing substrate.
If to add manure worms less than 15 special per 1 liter of compost-containing mixture, then the compost-containing substrate will rot due to the lack of manure worms for its processing, more than 20 individuals will reduce the size of the manure worms.
The method is as follows. To obtain a compost-containing substrate, take 3/4 by volume of defecate and 1/4 by volume of beet pulp. The resulting mixture is stirred, brought to a moisture content of 60-70% at a temperature of 22-25 ° C. Then, 15-20 specimens of dung worm are added per 1 liter of the obtained compost-containing substrate.
Substrates containing defecate and beet pulp were tested. The mixture was in various proportions (by volume): 1-25% defecate / 75% pulp; 2-50% defecate / 50% pulp; 3-75% defecate / 25% pulp. Then, in each variant, 20 individuals of the dung worm per 1 liter of compost-containing substrate were launched. The experiment lasted 45 days. During this time, in all cases, an increase in the number of worms was noted due to the addition of young individuals. No special calculations were carried out, but visually their number was approximately similar on different substrates. The analyzes performed after vermicomposting showed (Table 1) that all substrates for the worms were quite suitable, which confirms parallel visual observations of the number and well-being in the boxes. The mass fraction of ash in all cases differed insignificantly and corresponded to standards. After vermicomposting, the acidity of all substrates “straightened” from slightly alkaline and became neutral. The amount of nitrogen and potassium in almost all cases after vermicomposting also increased. Noteworthy is a very significant (almost 30-35% of the initial level) increase in potassium in all substrates. In contrast to these elements of the NPK complex, the amount of phosphorus changed in different ways differently. So, in the 1st and 2nd variants, its content decreased, and in the last variant it increased.
In order to draw a definite conclusion about the possibility of subsequent application of the obtained biohumus based on compost-containing substrates from defecate, tests of its activity were carried out on corn plants. For this, the seeds of this plant of the Trophy variety were planted in vermicompost. The following options were used: the first option - 1-25% defecate / 75% pulp; Option 2 - 2-50% defecate / 50% pulp; Option 3 - 3-75% defecate / 25% pulp. The data obtained are shown in the drawing, where curve 1 corresponds to the first embodiment, curve 2 to the second embodiment, curve 3 to the third embodiment. Seed germination in all cases was the same, however, differences in growth were still fixed. As can be seen from the drawing, the plants growing on biohumus using the maximum amount of defecate (75%) differed in the most intensive growth. Other options did not differ at that rate of corn growth.
Compared with the known solution, the proposed one allows to ensure complete utilization of beet waste of both beet pulp and defecate. In addition, the nutritional properties of biohumus are improved, as well as the cost of its preparation.
