Abstract
Description
Known profiled timber from solid wood, widely used in the construction of wooden buildings (Handbook on sawmilling. M., 1991, p. 15. See also GOST 18288-87. Sawmill, p.3-5). The main disadvantage is the formation of cracks on the outer surface, the curvature and torsion of the beam, caused by uneven shrinkage deformation during drying of the wood. Drying a solid bar is a rather complicated and expensive task, because the difficulty of drying a wooden element and the formation of shrinkage cracks on its surface disproportionately increase with increasing thickness.
As a prototype, a glued-wood shaped beam consisting of several layers of boards glued together was selected (Patent RU 2168594 C1, E 04 C 3/14, 06/10/2001). The main disadvantage of this bar is the high cost caused by the complexity of manufacture, due to:
1) необходимостью чистовой обработки большого количества поверхностей (8, не считая наружных, для 5-слойного бруса) для выполнения качественной склейки досок между собой;1) the need for finishing a large number of surfaces (8, not including the external, for a 5-layer timber) to perform high-quality gluing of the boards together;
2) необходимостью использования прессов большой мощности для плотного прижатия друг к другу достаточно толстых (30-40 мм) досок;2) the need to use high power presses for tightly pressing against each other sufficiently thick (30-40 mm) boards;
3) the need to dry a large number of boards (5 pieces for a 5-layer timber).
The aim of the present invention is to eliminate these drawbacks and to obtain a wooden beam, quite technologically advanced in manufacture, on the side surfaces of which no cracks are formed, less prone to bending and torsion when dried.
This goal is achieved by the fact that the profiled beam is made with cladding boards attached to its side surfaces, and the cladding boards are pre-compressed with a drying or mechanical action.
The design of the beam is illustrated by the circuit shown in figa.
Profiled wooden beam consists of the main part 1 and
В=Ву+Взаз B = B y + B zaz
где Bу - уменьшение высоты бруса из-за усадки при высыхании, а Взаз - величина эксплуатационного зазора, равная 1-5 мм.where B y is the decrease in the height of the beam due to shrinkage during drying, and In zaz is the value of the operational gap equal to 1-5 mm.
When the timber dries and the shrinkage of the wood of its main part is caused by this, compressive forces will be transferred to the cladding boards, additionally compressing the already clipped pre-facing boards and preventing the formation of cracks. Accordingly, tensile forces will act on the main part of the timber when it dries from the side of the cladding boards, causing cracks to form on its side surface. These cracks are closed by facing boards and practically do not worsen the operational properties of the timber.
Т.к. Because in cladding boards, subject to quality impregnation and drying, shrinkage and swelling deformations will not occur - swelling, then the bending and torsion of the beam as a whole will be significantly less than in the case of a solid beam.
Preliminary compression of the wood of the cladding boards can be carried out by drying to a moisture content below the moisture content of the main beam, or by mechanical action.
The mechanical action can be performed by pressing, rolling, forcing through a tapering hole, or in another known manner.
3.In order to improve the heat and sound insulating properties of the beam, between the joined surfaces of the beam 1 and the
In order to improve the decorative and operational qualities, the
