Description

 The invention relates to medicine and relates to physiotherapeutic equipment, namely, devices for the treatment and prevention of hemorrhoids.

 It is known the use of a gastrointestinal probe containing two elastic tubes, one of which is placed in the other, equipped with perforation [1]. This device is used only for diagnostic purposes, and is not used for treatment.

 It is known to use in a method for treating constipation a pre-magnetized probe (bougie) with a magnetic induction value (40-60) mT, in which the bougie and a magnetic induction source are made at the same time and are a rod in the form of a candle made of a homogeneous mass including barium ferrite, oxide zinc, benzene peroxide, white carbon black, rubber VKKTV-1 in predetermined proportions [2]. After molding and heat treatment, the rods are magnetized. This device is ineffective for the treatment of hemorrhoids, since the exposure time is only 60 minutes, which is enough to treat constipation, but not enough to treat such complex diseases as hemorrhoids. Using a known device for a longer period is not recommended by medicine, because gaping of the anus may appear.

 Taken as a prototype device for magnetotherapy of the rectum, containing boughe made of an elastic material with a limiter at one end, inside which a magnetic field source is installed [3], it is used only in stationary conditions, it does not allow to provide a sparing mode of insertion into the anus and to treat external hemorrhoids .

 The present invention is the treatment and prevention of hemorrhoids with an alternating magnetic field, as well as improving the operational characteristics of the device.

In order to achieve the task in a device for magnetotherapy of the rectum, containing a bougie made of elastic material with a limiter at one end, inside which a magnetic field source is installed, the bougie is made in the form of an ampoule, the cavity of which is filled with magnetic fluid with the formation of an air bubble to allow the patient to move without restriction and constraint, as well as to create an alternating magnetic field during its movement, while the limiter is made of elastic magnetic material in the form of a ring, and the value the magnetization of the magnetic fluid is chosen equal to (8-16) • 10 ³ A / m.

 The drawing shows a General view of the device. The device includes an ampoule 1, at one end of which a restrictive ring of elastic magnetic material 2 is fixed, inside the ampoule is a magnetic fluid 3 with an air bubble 4. Before use, the outer surface of the ampoule is coated with grease 5 (either honey, or sea buckthorn oil, or old pork fat or therapeutic ointments, etc.) to reduce friction and enhance the therapeutic effect. After that, the device is inserted into the anus, and the ampoule is inserted into the rectum until the stop of the restrictive ring in the buttocks, because the restrictive ring is made of elastic material, it tightly fits the buttocks and therefore the device does not interfere with the patient’s movement and even allows him to sit.

 After the session, the device is removed from the anus, cleaned, treated with alcohol and stored in the case until the next procedure. The duration and number of procedures is prescribed by the doctor individually for each patient. Treatment is carried out under the direct supervision of the attending physician.

 The operation of the device is based on the healing property of the magnetic field. It is known that a magnetic field with a strength of up to 600 oersteds helps to improve microcirculation, heal wounds and microtraumas, reduce inflammation, relieve pain, etc.

 The proposed device is compact, portable, can be used both in hospitals and on an outpatient basis. When the patient moves, the device generates an alternating magnetic field, which is very valuable for the treatment of such complex diseases as hemorrhoids. The proposed device expands the range of therapeutic agents, complements, but does not eliminate other types of treatment.

 Example. The bougie is inserted into the anus until it stops. Previously, the surface was smeared with either petroleum jelly, or sea buckthorn or olive oil, or honey, or ointments - troxevasin, vincapan, aurobin. The introduction of the device was carried out on the left side, after emptying the rectum. The duration of the procedure is up to (6-8) hours, daily. After each procedure, the device was treated with soap and water, and then with 70% alcohol.

 Clinical trial data.

 Patient S., 38 years old, suffered from constipation since childhood. Used laxatives - senna leaf, Karlovy Vary salt. Used candles with novocaine, beladonna, glycerin, etc. After a full course of treatment with a magnetic device (10 procedures), hemorrhoidal nodes were neglected, anus cracks healed, stool normalized (independent, daily, painless).

 Patient P., 25 years old, after suffering a delivery suffered from constipation. Difficult, painful stool caused an increase and inflammation of the hemorrhoidal nodes. The use of laxatives and local treatment (steam baths, candles, etc.) did not produce results. The patient used this device, on the third day there were independent desires for bowel movements and painless stools. Pain and a feeling of heaviness in the anus have ceased to bother. After the fifth procedure, the stool became daily, painless. After the eighth procedure, external hemorrhoidal nodes were not found. The chair is independent, regular.

 Patient K., 41 years old, the appearance of constipation and fissures of the anus, hemorrhoidal nodes due to irregular, painful, difficult stools was caused by prolonged inactivity of the intestine after surgery (cholecystectomy). It was possible to regulate a chair only by means of cleansing enemas. The increase in hemorrhoidal nodes, their inflammation made it difficult to defecate. After a course of magnetotherapy of the rectum of 10 procedures, a slight effect was noted. An independent chair was once every three days. After an additional course of treatment (after 3 months), the patient had a desolation of hemorrhoidal nodes, the stool returned to normal; the bowel movement became painless.

 The positive effect of using this device is the healing of cracks, the removal of hemorrhoidal nodes, and the normalization of stool. No side effects were detected, the exposure time is not limited.
