Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the field of ceramic materials, in particular to ceramic colored magnesium-containing lead-free glazes of brown and green, used for glazing brick, tile, majolica.
90). The glaze slip is obtained by co-grinding the frit with mill additives, which are added during grinding with water to stabilize the slip so that it does not delaminate during storage and coating on the product, as well as to improve rheological properties. Water is added until the moisture content of the glaze slurry reaches 39-45%. Compositions are known when white-burning clays, kaolin, bentonite, CMC (sodium salt of carboxymethyl cellulose) are used as mill additives (see Yu.G. Shteinberg, E.Yu. Turn. Glassy coatings for ceramics. - L .: Stroyizdat, 1989, p. 90).
The disadvantages of the known masses is the high content (5-8 wt.%) Of the clay component used to ensure the stability of the glaze slip, which worsens the coating mirror and increases the ripening temperature of the glaze. The use of CMC as a mill additive also often leads to surface defects such as “assembly”, “pricking”. When obtaining colored glazes during grinding, pigment is added in an amount of 5-10%, which is an expensive and scarce component.
39. The closest in technical essence to the claimed composition is the composition of the glaze slip described in the book Proceedings of the Institute. Scientific research to improve the quality of products of building ceramics. - M.: Niistrokeramika, 1979, p. 39.
Глазурный шликер сильно загустевает при хранении, а при получении цветной глазури коричневой и зеленой гаммы требует введения большого количества дорогостоящего пигмента (5-10% от общей массы сухого вещества).The known composition contains frit, water and as mill additives clay and salt in the following ratio, wt.%:
Lead Free Magnesium Frit - 58.2
White clay - 1.8
Sodium chloride - 0.12
Water - Else
The known composition contains a sufficiently large amount of clay component, which leads to an increase in the firing temperature of the products. The glaze slip significantly thickens during storage, and when obtaining colored glaze of brown and green colors it requires the introduction of a large amount of expensive pigment (5-10% of the total dry matter weight).
The present invention is directed to the creation of a new glaze slurry with less thickening during storage, with a lower ripening temperature of the glaze coating, while recycling industrial waste.
This object is achieved by the fact that in the glaze slip containing lead-free magnesium-containing frit and white-burning clay, galvanic production wastes are additionally introduced - acidic effluents from the steel pickling baths and removing the chrome coating.
These ingredients are taken in the following proportions, wt.%:
Lead-free magnesium-containing frit - 59.4-59.7
White clay - 0.3-0.6
Acid drains from steel pickling and chrome plating baths - 5-10
Water - Else
Acid drains from steel pickling and chrome plating bathtubs are a waste of galvanic work and are an aqueous solution of HCl with ions Cr +3 , Fe +3 , Cu +2 with a pH of 0.1-0.2, containing ions of Cr +3 no less than 250 g / l, Fe +3 ions no more than 10 g / l, Cu + 2 ions no more than 5 g / l.
At the filing date, according to the authors and the applicant, the claimed composition of the glaze slip is unknown and this technical solution is novel.
The inventive combination of essential features exhibits a new property, which allows to obtain a technical result.
The combined presence of an aqueous solution of Hcl with ions of Cr +3 , Fe +3 , Cu +3 , clay and Frits has a coagulating effect on the gaseous slip. The decrease in the thickening of the slip can be explained by the blocking of the reactivity of the Mg + 2 cation, which dissolves from the frit, to the formation of oxide chains under the influence of an acidic medium. An aqueous solution of Hcl with ions of Cr +3 , Fe +3 , Cu +2 has a catalytic effect on the reactivity of the components, which helps to reduce the ripening temperature of the glaze coating.
The optimum content of acidic effluents in the glaze slip is 5-10%. With a decrease in acidic wastewater content of less than 5%, normal "suspension" of Frit particles is not ensured. With an increase of over 10%, the rheological properties of the glaze slip, in particular fluidity, deteriorate.
The clay content in the glaze slip of more than 0.6% leads to an increase in the thickening of the glaze slip and an increase in the ripening temperature of the glaze, and a decrease of less than 0.3% leads to a decrease in the stability of the slip.
Considering the above, it can be concluded that the proposed composition of the glaze slip does not explicitly follow from the prior art, and the whole set of essential features exhibits a new property that allows achieving the specified technical result, i.e. The invention meets the eligibility criteria - "inventive step".
The claimed invention meets the criterion of "industrial applicability", because it can be used in the industrial manufacture of brown and green glaze slurries with lower thickening during storage and with a lower ripening temperature of the glaze.
50%.An example of a specific implementation. The glaze slip is prepared as follows. The dosed frit (C-4 TU 2365-009-23369647-99) and the white-cured Latn clay are poured with an aqueous HCl solution with ions Cr +3 , Fe +3 , Cu +2 instead of the part of water (5%), which is added until
The characteristic of the glaze slip is presented in the table.
Analysis of the data in the table shows that the proposed composition provides the glaze slurry, which decreased the coefficient of thickening by 23% and the ripening temperature of the glaze by 50 o C.
Upon receipt of the glaze slip, a by-product of galvanic production is used, which favorably affects the environmental situation and also reduces the cost of production. In addition, when using acidic effluents with Cr +3 Fe +3 , Cu +2 ions, a side effect occurs when obtaining green and brown glaze slurries - saving up to 50% of expensive pigments.
