This invention relates to non-clay slurry compositions for enameling metal products by known methods.
The aim of the invention is to increase the sedimentation stability and increase the adhesion strength of the dried layer.
1.The slip is prepared by grinding in a ball mill to a grinding fineness of 12-16 units. on the vessel Lysenko. The required amount of gelatin is presoaked for 40-60 minutes in cold water and heated until complete dissolution. The slurry compositions are given in Ta6l.1.
In tab. 2 shows the composition of the used Frits.
The sedimentation stability of the slip (and c) was determined by the formulas
H-h НHh h
Uc Uc
-100%,-100%,
где Н - высота шликера в цилиндре , мм,where H is the height of the slip in the cylinder, mm
h - высота сло воды после отсто шликера в цилиндре в течение 24 ч.h - the height of the layer of water after suction of the slip in the cylinder for 24 hours
The quality of the dried layer was determined visually. The adhesion strength of the slurry was evaluated by its washability with water.
3.The results of comparative tests of the known and proposed compositions of the enamel slip are presented in table 3.
The use of the invention provides an increase in the sedimentation stability of the slip by 17-22%, which allows maintaining the operating parameters of the slip longer and improving the quality of the enamel coating, improving the adhesion strength of the dried layer completely avoids chipping the dried layer before reviewing and as a result reducing the amount of scrap during enameling products.
