Description
The utility model relates to the field of medicine, namely to devices for treating the wounded and patients with pneumothorax of various origins, used to remove air and blood from the pleural cavity in case of chest injuries.
A device for pleural puncture is known, consisting of an injection needle and a syringe. The evacuation of blood, air from the pleural cavity is carried out by creating a negative pressure by the movement of the syringe piston (BM Kostyuchenoki and others; Fundamentals of Thoracic Surgery. M.: Medicine, 1976, p. 103-104). The disadvantage of the described device is that for the complete evacuation of blood, air from the pleural cavity, it is necessary to carry out multiple pumpings from various points of the chest, injuring the patient.
A known device for drainage of the pleural cavity contains a tube with holes at the working end, a one-way conduction valve and a valve cover connected with it with a filter and an elastic container for blood. In addition, the device further comprises a second one-way conduction valve communicated with a valve cover with a filter, located on the same axis with the first valve and acting in the same direction as it, and a syringe for creating a vacuum in the system [RU 2305569 C1, IPC A61M 27/00, publ. . 2007]. Both valves and the syringe are connected to each other with a tee. Rapid active removal of blood, air from the pleural cavity, expansion of the lung to relieve severe respiratory and cardiopulmonary insufficiency in patients with severe concomitant, multiple, combined chest trauma is provided.
The technical problem to be solved by the claimed utility model is the rapid removal of air and blood from the pleural cavity, the restoration of the natural shape of the lung, as well as maintaining the set pressure value in the pleural cavity in order to exclude respiratory and cardiopulmonary insufficiency in the patient.
The problem is solved by the fact that the device for pleural drainage contains a tube for connecting to one of the known designs of needles for drainage of the pleural cavity through the needle and tube connection unit, connected to an electrical device with a pressure sensor installed in it, which measures the pressure in the patient's pleural cavity through measurement of pressure in the tube through which the contents of the pleural cavity are evacuated, by a drive (pump or compressor), which, based on the readings of the pressure sensor, creates the necessary pressure drop in the tube-pleural cavity tract to ensure the evacuation of the pleural cavity and straightening the patient's lung, control board, batteries , controls and indications. The evacuation of pumping products (blood, air, etc.) from the pleural cavity is carried out through a tube installed at the outlet of the device into a collection container with a valve installed on it to remove excess air pumped by the device from the pleural cavity.
The technical result is achieved due to the constructive implementation of the device, which ensures the prompt removal of air and blood from the pleural cavity, restoration of the natural shape of the lung, as well as maintaining a predetermined pressure value in the pleural cavity in order to exclude respiratory and cardiopulmonary insufficiency in the patient. The device, due to the presence of the device, not only ensures the pumping of blood and air from the pleural cavity, but also maintains a constant predetermined pressure, acting as a valve or any other shutoff valve.

The device contains a needle for drainage of the pleural cavity 1, connected through the
