Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the feed industry, and in particular to methods for the production of feed additives for farm animals and poultry based on waste from the brewing and meat industries.
It is known that beer grains, brewing waste and bone meal are used in the feed composition, and these components are prepared separately during joint drying, and then they are introduced into the feed composition ("Calf Feed", RF patent N 214066 A 23 K 1/16, 1998 g.).
Known feed for young cattle containing beer grains, components of plant origin and sugar waste (USSR Author's Certificate 1722390 A 23 K 1/16, 1990).
Known calf feed containing bone meal, sunflower meal, premix, milk powder, alfalfa, chalk, yeast, barley (RF Patent 2044493 A 23 K 1/16, 1993).
Known feeds have a positive effect, animals gain weight.
However, the eatability of the feed, which contains beer grains, is not always up to standard. Beer pellet is introduced into the feed in a small amount due to the presence of a bitter taste.
The proposed method eliminates the bitter taste, and this makes it possible to increase the quantitative content of beer grains in the composition of the feed additive. The feed additive obtained by the proposed method can be included in any feed for farm animals and poultry, as well as an independent feed.
The method is as follows.
The bone is ground on a grinder and conveyor is fed into a vibrating extractor, in which the fat is melted. Fat-free bone from the extractor enters the washer-separator, in which it is squeezed from fat and partially dehydrated. The liquid phase from the washer-separator enters a settling centrifuge, and then the fat-emulsion emulsion is separated into fat and waste water on the separators. Fat-free bone enters the grinder.
30oC.Beer pellet is fed into the dispenser. From the dispenser it is fed for sterilization to the reactor. Sterilization is carried out at a temperature of 110-120 o C and a pressure of 2-3 ATM for 30-40 minutes Then, in the same reactor, after depressurizing and lowering the temperature, the beer pellet is cooled to a temperature of 30 o C.
Next, the beer pellet by gravity enters the grinder top, where it is mixed with bone squash in a ratio of 1: 4, respectively. The mixture is fed to drying units. Drying is carried out at a temperature of 90-100 o C to obtain the finished product with a moisture content of not more than 8-9%. The dried mixture is transported by an elevator to a hammer mill, then to a vibrating screen. The sieved feed additive is weighed and packaged.
Preliminary preparation of beer pellets is advisable to carry out under the proposed modes, since this ensures the removal of unwanted taste, disinsection and neutralization from toxic and harmful substances and at the same time increases the nutritional value of this component. In general, the feed additive has a high feed and biological value, is well digestible both as an independent feed and as part of traditional feeds for farm animals and poultry. It has good organoleptic properties, namely it has optimal humidity, attracting odor, and most importantly there is no bitter taste. The feed additive is well preserved for a long shelf life.
Example 1. To obtain a feed additive for feeding chickens take bone and beer grains in a ratio of 3: 1, respectively. The bone is crushed, degreased and served in a batcher-chopper. The beer crusher is fed for sterilization to the reactor. Sterilization is carried out at a temperature of 120 o C and a pressure of 2 ATM for 40 minutes. Then carry out pressure relief and coolant supply. Beer pellet is gradually cooled to a temperature of 30 o C. Next, the beer pellet is fed into the grinder, where it is mixed with bone greaves. The mixture is then dried at a temperature of 90 o C. The finished feed additive has a moisture content of 8%. After grinding and sieving, the additive is mixed with the main chicken feed in an amount of 20% by weight of the feed. Eatability of food was good, there were no deviations in the physiology of birds. The weight gain of chickens was 20% more compared to traditional food.
Example 2. A feed additive was prepared analogously to example 1, except that it was prepared for calves, with this ratio of components is beer pellet and bone squash 1: 4, respectively. The temperature in the reactor during the processing of beer pellets was 110 ° C, at a pressure of 3 atm, and the processing time was 30 minutes. The calves were given this supplement as an independent feed, replacing one feed. High assimilation of additives is noted. The feed supplement was well eaten by animals.
Example 3. For cattle, a feed additive was prepared analogously to example 2, except that the mixture of pre-prepared beer pellets and bone pulp was dried at a temperature of 100 o C to obtain the finished product with a moisture content of not more than 9%. The supplement as an independent feed was actively eaten. The weight gain of animals has noticeably increased. There were no unwanted signs, namely an upset gastrointestinal tract.
