Description

 The invention relates to cosmetics and can be used in the manufacture of creams for the prevention of fungal skin lesions, for example, candidiasis.

 A variety of personal care products are known: creams, foot fluids, foot care lotions. So according to the author's certificate of the USSR N 971331, cl. A 60 K 7/00, 1981 known foot cream with a bactericidal and softening effect on the skin. The cream contains camphor, carotene paste, vegetable oils and water, as well as fatty components - stearin, emulsion waxes and spermaceti.

 The cream is slowly absorbed into the skin and does not show bactericidal properties fast enough. Its main disadvantage is the lack of fungicidal action.

 Known cosmetic product for the feet containing castor oil, glycerin, salicylic acid, menthol, camphor, chinosol, extracts of St. John's wort and yarrow herbs, alcohol and water (TU 64-19-64-90, St. Petersburg). The drug acts as a painkiller, relieves leg fatigue, softens the skin, helps exfoliate dead skin cells of the legs, and has a bactericidal effect.

 However, the tool does not have a fungicidal and wound healing effect. In addition, it contains chinosol, which as a chemical component of synthetic origin, does not occur in nature and is undesirable in the composition for treating human skin.

 Known cosmetic product for the feet, containing castor oil, glycerin, camphor, menthol, an aqueous extract of aspen bark, a copper derivative of chlorophyll, chlorophyllocarotin paste, essential pine oil and limonite (RF Patent N 2035904, CL A 61 K 7/00, 27.05. 95). The water extract of aspen bark gives the drug fungicidal properties, affecting the fungal flora of the feet due to the presence of tannins. A copper derivative of chlorophyll enhances the inhibition of microbial flora with an aqueous extract of aspen bark. Coniferous essential oil also has an antimicrobial effect.

 The disadvantage of a cosmetic product is its low fungicidal effect, which limits its scope.

 The closest technical solution (prototype) is a skin care product for feet, including sodium ethoxylated lauryl sulfate, monolauryl sulfosuccinate, DEG stearate, distilled glycerides, glycerin, ilantane, urea, saponified concentrate "Laminaria", propolis oil extract, formalin, alcohol from and water (USSR author's certificate N 1620107, class A 61 K 7/50, 01/15/91). Thanks to the introduction of ethyl alcohol, formalin and ilant, the fungicidal and bactericidal properties of the agent are ensured. Propolis extract and Laminaria concentrate provide a wound healing, keratolytic and antiseptic effect.

 The disadvantage of the prototype is a low fungicidal and antimicrobial (spectrum) effect. In addition, it contains substances such as formalin, sodium ethoxylated lauryl sulfate, monolauryl sulfosuccinate and DEG stearate, which are undesirable in the composition for treating human skin. Surfactants used in the product are harmful to the skin, as they irreversibly block the work of skin enzymes, changing their structure ("turning" the molecule). Formalin, used as a fungicide and preservative in the product, also creates an irritating effect, denatures proteins and skin enzymes, as It violates to some extent the normal functioning of the cellular system of the skin, is a mutagen and a promoter of allergic reactions.

 The objective of the invention is the creation of such a cosmetic foot cream, which would provide a wider range of fungicidal and antimicrobial effects.

This problem is solved in that the cosmetic cream for the prevention of microbial infections, including glycerin, propolis extract, perfume and water, according to the invention, the cream further comprises essential oil of oregano, a gel of polyethylene oxide, egg yolks, horsetail broth, extracts of incense, wormwood and / or plantain, citric and salicylic acid, phosphate-salt supplement, Hanks salts, sodium benzoate and golden pigment, in the following ratio, wt.%:

Oregano essential oil has a wide range of fungicidal and bacteriostatic effects (see table 1 below), softens and disinfects the skin, helps reduce the likelihood of skin diseases and enhances blood circulation.

 Polyethylene oxide gel (TU 9154-004-11821987-93) is a water-soluble polymer and provides ease of use of the product (applied to the hair and scalp), helps soften the skin and rinses well after use. The gel of polyethylene oxide contains 1-2% of polyethylene oxide and the rest is water, packed in the structure of this polymer after irradiation of the solution, for example with accelerated electrons, to form a gel. Water-soluble gel allows you to make cream for the skin of the legs at room temperature. This ensures the preservation of the biological activity of the natural components of the product.

 Citric acid nourishes the skin and gives it elasticity.

As a buffer system, for example, a mixture of citric acid and a phosphate-salt supplement (Na ₂ HPO ₄ • 12H ₂ O) is used, when dissolved in a gel-like cream base, regulation and maintenance of optimal values of the pH value in the range of 5 , 0 to 6.0 pH units.

 Propolis (TU 46-4904560-01-91) in the composition is a fungicide and bacteriostatic agent that provides an increase in the shelf life of the cosmetic product, and also has a regenerative and anti-inflammatory and local anesthetic effect.

 Sodium benzoate also exhibits a bacteriostatic effect.

 Chicken egg yolk is a source of lecithin - a natural surfactant (detergent), which helps remove dirt from the skin of the legs, softens and vitamins the skin, and exhibits antioxidant activity.

 Glycerin provides a softening and moisturizing effect on the skin of the legs, and also has good permeability, promotes the transport of substances through the epidermis.

 Hanks balanced salt composition provides regulation of the osmotic activity of cream masks and provides an additional balanced nutrition of human skin cells with inorganic ions.

 Horsetail broth and salicylic acid reduce perspiration.

 The tannins of the extract of the root of the incense and salicylic acid contribute to keratinization, that is, an increase in the number of scaly layers, restoring the protective functions of the epidermis.

 To eliminate the inflammatory processes in the epidermis, herbal supplements such as plantain and wormwood extracts are introduced into the proposed composition. In addition, plant extracts fortify the skin.

 When the components of the composition are introduced into the cream below the indicated concentrations, they do not provide a cosmetic and therapeutic effect, and when these concentrations of the components of the composition are exceeded, there is no significant increase in the positive effect, but its cost significantly increases.

The components of the product in the specified ratio have the greatest activating effect. The drug is stable when stored at a temperature of +7 ^o C (in a refrigerator) for more than 6 months. An increase in the content of the components of the agent above the values indicated in example 3 slightly increases its activity, but the consumption of biologically active substances increases significantly, which is accompanied by a rise in the cost of the product.

Example 4. The technology of preparation of cosmetic cream for the prevention of fungal infections "Rada-plus"
In the manufacture of the drug, simple technological equipment is used, equipped with a reactor with a stirrer.

To prepare the foot cream, a polyethylene oxide gel is loaded into the reactor with a stirrer at a temperature of +18 - 20 ^o C and the following components are added with stirring according to the above recipe (examples 1-3): oregano essential oil, glycerin, propolis extract, chicken egg yolks, horsetail decoction, extracts of incense, wormwood and / or plantain, citric and salicylic acids, Hanks salts, sodium benzoate, golden pigment, perfume and water.

After mixing the components of the composition for 20-30 minutes, measure the pH of the mixture. If the pH of the product is below 5.5 ± 0.2 (the polyethylene oxide gel has an acidic environment), then buffers (CaCl ₂ • 6H ₂ O) and (Na ₂ HPO ₄ • 12H ₂ O) are added to the composition in an amount sufficient to ensure in the composition of pH 5.5 ± 0.2. Next, the mixture is homogenized again in the reactor for 20-30 minutes, the finished cosmetic product is packaged in a container and stored at a temperature of +7 ^o C.

 The cold method of preparing the cream allows you to maximize the activity of its constituents.

Example 5. The study of the effect of essential oil of oregano (Origanum vulgare) on museum cultures of microorganisms
To assess the preventive effect spectrum of oregano essential oil, as a component of cosmetic foot cream, studies have been carried out on museum cultures of microorganisms.

Daily culture is bred 10 times. To 300 μg of oregano essential oil, 1 ml of a diluted culture of microorganisms is added and incubated at room temperature. Cups with crops are incubated at 37 ^o C for 24 hours. The test results are shown in table. 1.

 Analysis of tables 1 shows that oregano essential oil has a wide range of antifungal and antibacterial effects.

Example 6. The study of the antifungal effect of the cosmetic cream "Rada-plus" on the example of a culture of Candida albicans
To evaluate the preventive effect on the skin of the Rada-plus cosmetic cream, we studied the antifungal effect of this cream using the example of Candida albicans culture.

The daily culture of Candida albicans is bred 10 times. To 0.9 ml of Rada-plus cream (the compositions described in Examples 1 and 2 were tested), 0.1 ml of diluted Candida albicans culture was added and incubated at room temperature. Sowing on plates with Sabur medium is carried out after 3, 6, 24 hours. Cups with crops are incubated at 37 ^° C. for 24 hours. The test results are shown in table. 2.

 Analysis of table 2 shows that the proposed cosmetic foot cream "Rada-plus" has a high prophylactic (antifungal) effect. Its composition is optimized for the prevention of candidiasis of the feet. The cream is an effective tool against peeling of the skin of the feet caused by microorganisms.

 In addition, experimental studies show that the biologically active substances of the extracts determine the nutritional value of the cream, give it anti-inflammatory, regenerative properties, promote the rapid healing of wounds, abrasions, scuffs and prevent the formation of corns. The cream has a softening, embalming and deodorizing effect, relieves itching, burning and pain observed with damage to the skin, has a high penetrating ability, which is felt in the form of pleasant warmth and redness of the feet.

 Industrial applicability. The invention can be used in cosmetics and medicine.
