Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the field of building materials, in particular, to a method for preparing lightweight polystyrene concrete mixtures used for the manufacture of building structures and products having high thermal insulation and structural reliability and environmental safety.
A known method of manufacturing a three-layer panel, including the preparation of concrete mixture, its laying and sealing in the following ratio of components, wt. granular polystyrene foam 4.5-5.3; liquid glass (on dry matter) 1.2-4.0; Portland cement 66.0-70.0; saponified wood resin 0.08-0.12 and water the rest [1] The disadvantage of this method is the presence of harmful impurities of free styrene.
The closest in technical essence and the achieved result is a method of preparing a light concrete mixture based on granular polystyrene foam, which consists in the fact that the granules are pretreated with a composition of the following composition, wt. polyvinyl acetate dispersion 4.8-9.0; Portland cement 25.0-52.9; ash of thermal power plants 10.6-38.6; water the rest [2] The disadvantage of this method is the relatively high density of the finished expanded polystyrene concrete and a significant release of harmful impurities into the environment.
The solution to the technical problem is aimed at reducing the harmful emissions of free styrene from the body of polystyrene concrete and improving the environmental safety of structures based on it.
This is achieved by the fact that in the method for preparing a polystyrene-concrete mixture, including the preparation of mixtures of cement, granular polystyrene, an organic additive and water, first the granular polystyrene is mixed with an organic additive, and as an additive, a mixture of saponified wood resin and a caprolactam production waste from benzene-water is used layer VVDK based on mono - and dicarboxylic acids in the ratio, respectively, wt. 30-60 and 40-70 with the following content of the components of the polystyrene concrete mixture, respectively, wt.

An embodiment of the described method consists in the fact that initially granular polystyrene is mixed with 50-83.3% of the total mass of the organic additive and part of the water with a ratio of the latter to the organic additive of 10-15: 1, respectively, and a mixture of saponified wood resin is used as the additive and waste production of caprolactam from benzene in the water layer of the VSDC based on mono- and dicarboxylic acids in a ratio, respectively, wt. 30-60 and 40-70, after which granular polystyrene is dusted with cement, followed by the introduction of the remaining parts of the organic additive and mixing water with mixing, the ratio of the components of the polystyrene concrete mixture being, wt.

The following materials were used in the work: Portland cement of grades 400-500 (TU 10178-85), granular foamed polystyrene (OST 6-05-202-83), saponified wood resin (TU 13-05-02-83), and as mixtures of dicarboxylic acids used an aqueous layer of dicarboxylic acids produced by caprolactam (VSDC) (TU 113-03-26-11-81).
A method of preparing a polystyrene concrete mixture is as follows.
C6H5 CH CH2 + HOOC Ri COOH
C6H5 CH2 CH2 OOC Ri COOH
An aqueous solution of an organic additive is applied to the surface of the estimated number of granules of expanded polystyrene, followed by thorough mixing of the granules until the solution is completely absorbed and its uniform redistribution in the granule volume. Freshly applied solution of the additive easily penetrates into the pores and capillaries of polystyrene granules and from the first moment of mixing enters its active part in chemical interaction with the molecules of the free styrene monomer. The chemistry of this interaction can be schematically represented by the following equation:
C 6 H 5 CH CH 2 + HOOC Ri COOH
C 6 H 5 CH 2 CH 2 OOC Ri COOH
Such a chemical process intensively proceeds already at temperatures of 15-20 o C with the formation of solids with less volatility and toxicity compared to styrene. Then polystyrene granules are mineralized with the calculated amount of Portland cement, and after thorough mixing, the resulting semi-dry mixture is closed with the residual solution of the complex chemical additive in the mixing water, followed by intensive mixing until a homogeneous polystyrene concrete mixture is formed. Thus prepared in a mixer, the concrete mixture is molded into a product and subjected to heat and humidity treatment according to the following conditions: preliminary exposure for 2 hours, raising the temperature to 65 ± 5 ° C for 5 hours, cooling for 2 hours. The products can be solidified also under normal conditions. Under conditions of heat-moisture treatment, the reaction products melt and their diffusion to the peripheral layers of the product is possible. However, as they move, they enter into further chemical interaction with the minerals of the clinker part and the products of its hydration according to the equation:
As a result of the described reaction, complexes are formed that firmly hold the styrene group in the concrete body in the form of a relatively harmless substance.
The reaction products are firmly bound to the concrete matrix and are not subject to any noticeable migration processes under the natural conditions of operation of the finished polystyrene concrete structures.
