Abstract
Description
The invention relates to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopedics.
М. 1979, с. 195-226). A known method of treating fractures with Turner-Sudek syndrome by surgical treatment of nudity, excision of scars and mobilization of nerves. (A.V. Kaplan. Damage to bones and joints. M. 1979, p. 195-226).
However, with this method of treatment, the duration of treatment can reach a year. Patients are in hospital for a long time. There are neurological disorders.
60). As a prototype taken the method described by one of the co-authors (J. Orthopedics, traumatology and prosthetics, N 8, 1988, S. 60).
However, distraction by this method was carried out in the range of 0.5 to 1.0 mm per day, which sometimes led to some complications.
The proposed method for the treatment of improperly fused bones of the forearm with Turner-Sudek syndrome. Through biologically active points (XE-GU and HOU-SI), spokes are held, which are fixed in the apparatus of extra focal osteosynthesis and microdistraction is performed at 0.3-0.6 mm per day.
At a lower rate of distraction, the restoration of bone length slows down and the duration of treatment increases. At a higher rate of distraction, the pain syndrome intensifies up to causalgia, which forces it to stop distraction for a long time and significantly increase the duration of treatment.
И. 62 г. Clinical example. Patient Ermolaev I.I. 62 years old by profession a design engineer, medical history N 10783-1969 was admitted to the trauma unit of the Kuybyshev hospital (12/11/69), two weeks after the injury due to a fracture of the distal section of both bones of the right forearm after two attempts to reposition the fracture and fixation with a plaster back splint. After two weeks, the patient experienced a sharp increase in pain, sharp swelling of the fingers, and a change in the color of the skin to purple. Diagnosed with a bone fracture with Turner-Sudek syndrome. Radiographs were made, on which an abnormally fused multifragmented fracture of both bones of the distal section, an insignificant spotty osteoporosis of the wrist bones is visible. An extra focal osteosynthesis was performed with one of the spokes passing through the XE-GU point. Distraction of 0.5 was carried out for two weeks. Pain in the arm eased after three days, swelling disappeared after a week. The device is removed after 5 weeks. The total period of incapacity for work after surgical treatment is 56 days. When the apparatus is removed, spotted osteoporosis of the bones of the wrist and distal forearm is already manifested in the radiographs.
