Abstract
Description
The invention relates to agriculture, in particular the cultivation of rainworms and the production of vermicomposts.
These inventions have the task of increasing the economic efficiency of production in terms of a unit of usable area of the room, to regulate the humidity and aeration of the substrate throughout the process, to eliminate both the need for periodic humidification and the need to dry the vermicompost to complete composting, to control the degree of readiness.
A known method of breeding rainworms (Japan N 59-46567, A 01 K 67/00. // ISM, 1985, N 12, part 1, p. 81), which consists in the fact that the boxes with a capacity of 30-80 l with many holes for aeration (Japan N 59-46566, A 01 K 67/00. // ISM, 1985, N 12, part 1, p. 81.) with rainworms are stacked with stacks at intervals of 50 mm between the side walls, with the area openings with a diameter of 5 to 20 mm is 15 to 40% and the nutrient medium with the worms is placed over the entire depth of the box, closed on top with paper or plastic film.
N 1, 07.01.92). Also known is an installation for producing humus using earthworms, containing a fence, inside which trays are installed, above which carts can be moved. Above the vertical channel on the fence there is a device for preparing the substrate, and under the vertical channel there is a vibrating screen connected with collectors for humus and worms. Humus production is carried out inside the enclosure in trays located in 3 tiers, which increases the production area, and the placement of trays inside the enclosure, made in the form of a room with a temperature control device, allows you to constantly maintain a favorable heat-and-moisture mode (ed. 11/08 // Bull. N 1, 01/07/92).
Also known is a module for breeding rainworms and composting from them, a method for using such modules (France, application N 2561869, A 01 K 67/00, C 05 F 9/00 // Bulletin officiel de la prorriete industrielle, 1985, 10.04. N 40). The modules are trays, the angle of inclination of the walls of which allows empty trays to put one in another pile. If the trays are full, the bottom of the upper module rests on the contents of the lower module. The modules are equipped with stacking tools and suspension elements. The block can be closed with a cap. The modules can be installed in a working position in a row or in stacks so that it is possible, if necessary, to separate the rainworms in the horizontal plane, i.e. longitudinally or vertically when the modules are stacked one on an arc. This method was taken by us as a prototype.
In contrast to the prototype and the aforementioned analogues, the proposed method eliminates the need for periodic wetting of the substrate, drying of the vermicompost upon completion of composting from the technological cycle, and the composting time is reduced. This is achieved by using trays with a large proportion of the area occupied by perforation of the total surface area of the tray and using paper inserts. In this case, during the process of vermicomposting, a favorable regime of moistening, aeration and unification of control over the course of the process of vermicomposting is created.
In contrast to the prototype, trays with many small holes for aeration are used as trays for growing rainworms and receiving vermicomposts, the total area of which is 43% or more of the total surface area of the tray. In particular, the IPES batch trays intended for storing and transporting vegetables and fruits are very well suited for use for this purpose.
Trays "IPES" made of polymer material have linear dimensions of 520 * 400 mm in the upper inner perimeter, 200 mm in depth. The sophisticated profile of the trays is designed for installing friends on each other in a multi-tiered column. The side walls of the tray and the bottom of the tray are perforated with square holes 10 * 10 mm through 10 mm.
The trays are covered with double liners of paper cut out so that the paper covers all the perforated walls and the bottom of the tray, as well as the contents of the tray when it is fully loaded. Fresh substrate for cultivating worms with a humidity of 85 90% is loaded into the prepared tray. Inoculated with worms. The surface is leveled, covered with the bumps of the liner. This priem excludes the drying of cocoons that are on the surface, and eliminates the sharp differentiation of the total mass of the substrate into dry and wet parts.
Populated trays are installed in multi-tiered columns. The first tray of each column is placed in an empty paper-free tray in the storage position. The premium ensures that there is a gap between the floor and the first loaded tray and ventilation. Subsequent loaded trays place each other on top of each other so that there is clearance between the surface of the contents of the lower tray and the bottom of the upper tray.
Columns are placed in rows in pairs, one by one, with intervals between rows of at least 80 cm so that the longitudinal axis of the tray is parallel to the longitudinal axis of the series.
The process of vermicomposting is judged by the degradation of the paper of the liners, which is well visible in the side perforation. Depending on the population density and room temperature, after 15-25 days, the perforation is opened due to the complete destruction of the paper due to the high cellulolytic activity of microorganisms and worms. From this moment, enhanced ventilation and drying of the contents of the trays begin.
After 8-15 days after opening the perforations, the vermicompost is separated.
Example Containers for storing and transporting vegetables and fruits made of polymer material are used as a tray for vermicultivation. Trays are wrapped inside with double paper liners from brown paper; in addition, 2 3 layers of paper are placed on the bottom of the tray. Fresh substrate based on the solid fraction of pork manure is placed in a tray in an amount of 20 l, populated with worms (population of Eisenia fetida and Eisenia andrei), and closed with the sides of the insert. The trays are installed in eight-column columns, with the lower tray standing in an empty tray in the storage position, forming an 8-centimeter gap between the floor and the lower loaded tray. A gap of 3 5 cm is formed between the bottom of the upper tray and the surface of the contents of the lower tray. The columns are arranged in rows in pairs, alternately between rows of at least 80 cm, so that the longitudinal axis of the tray is parallel to the longitudinal axis of the row. After 8 to 15 days after opening the perforations (complete destruction of the paper), the vermicompost is separated.
