A method for assessing the success of the processing of agricultural products with 1-methylcyclopropene, including a comparison of physical indicators in two batches - processed and unprocessed fruits, characterized in that the intensity of ethylene release in both batches is used as a physical indicator, and the research process is carried out in two stages, in the first of which both batches are kept under the same conditions for 3-10 days at room temperature, then weighed batches of batches are placed in sealed containers of the same volume for 1-10 hours, after which the amount of released ethylene in both batches is measured per unit of fruit weight per unit of time and then the results are compared.
