Claims (22)
1. Волокнистая панель с покрытием, содержащая:
волокнистую панель, имеющую тыльную сторону и противоположную ей лицевую сторону, а также слой отвержденного покрытия, расположенный или нанесенный по меньшей мере на одной из сторон панели, причем слой отвержденного покрытия содержит:
10-50 % об. неорганического связующего вещества в расчете на общий объем сухого покрытия и
50-90 % об. неорганического наполнителя в расчете на общий объем сухого покрытия;
при этом неорганическое связующее содержит силикат щелочного металла или силикат щелочноземельного металла, неорганическое связующее и неорганический наполнитель не являются аналогичными веществами, а покрытие практически не содержит связующих на основе органических полимеров.
2. Композиция для отверждаемого покрытия, содержащая
10-50 % об. неорганического связующего вещества в расчете на общий объем твердых веществ в сухой композиции для покрытия и
50-90 % об. неорганического наполнителя в расчете на общий объем твердых веществ в сухой композиции для покрытия;
при этом неорганическое связующее содержит силикат щелочного металла или силикат щелочноземельного металла, неорганическое связующее и неорганический наполнитель не являются аналогичными веществами, а покрытие практически не содержит связующих на основе органических полимеров.
3. Волокнистая панель или композиция по любому из пп. 1-2, отличающаяся тем, что силикат металла представляет собой силикат металла, выбранный из группы, состоящей из силиката натрия, силиката калия, силиката лития, силиката магния, силиката кальция, силиката бериллия и сочетания вышеуказанных соединений.
4. Волокнистая панель или композиция по любому из пп. 1-3, отличающаяся тем, что неорганический наполнитель представляет собой наполнитель, выбранный из группы, состоящей из глины, слюды, песка, сульфата бария, диоксида кремния, талька, гипса, карбоната кальция, волластонита, оксида цинка, сульфат цинка, полых шариков, соли бентонита и сочетания вышеуказанного.
5. Способ нанесения покрытия на волокнистую панель, включающий:
получение волокнистой панели, имеющей тыльную сторону и противоположную ей лицевую сторону;
нанесение по меньшей мере на одну из сторон панели слоя, содержащего неорганическое связующее вещество и неорганический наполнитель, причем количество неорганического связующего находится в пределах 10-50 % об. в расчете на общий объем твердых веществ в сухом слое, а количество неорганического наполнителя находится в пределах 50-90 % об. в расчете на общий объем твердых веществ в сухом слое, и при этом неорганическое связующее содержит силикат щелочного металла или силикат щелочноземельного металла, неорганическое связующее и неорганический наполнитель не являются аналогичными веществами, а покрытие практически не содержит связующих на основе органических полимеров; и
нагревание поверхности слоя до температуры, равной по меньшей мере 350 °F (около 176 °С), вследствие чего по меньшей мере на одной из сторон волокнистой панели, образуется покрытие на основе силикатов металлов.
6. Способ по п. 5, отличающийся тем, что
(а) неорганическое связующее и неорганический наполнитель предварительно смешивают для образования композиции отверждаемого покрытия; или
(b) неорганический наполнитель наносят в качестве первого слоя, а неорганическое связующее наносят в качестве последующего слоя, соприкасающегося с первым слоем.
7. Способ по любому из пп. 5 или 6, дополнительно включающий химическое отверждение.
8. Способ по п. 7, отличающийся тем, что химическое отверждение включает нанесение раствора многовалентного металла или кислоты на слой покрытия из силикатов металлов и сушку покрытия.
9. Способ по любому из пп. 5-8, отличающийся тем, что масса покрытия из силиката металла (в пересчете на сухое вещество) находится в пределах от около 0,01 фунт/фут2 до около 0,07 фунт/фут2.
10. Способ по п. 8, отличающийся тем, что химическое отверждение включает нанесение раствора многовалентного металла, количество которого в покрытии (в сухом или влажном состоянии) находится в пределах от 5 ммоль/фут2 до около 30 ммоль/фут2.
