Abstract
1. Claims (15)
1. Система (100), которая облегчает интеллектуальное распределение данных резервного копирования среди набора местоположений (106) хранения в среде резервного копирования, содержащая:
процессор, подсоединенный к памяти, которая хранит выполняемые компьютером инструкции, причем процессор выполняет:
компонент (102) контроля, который идентифицирует по меньшей мере одно из свойств данных резервного копирования, сохраненных одним или более местоположениями (106) хранения, или свойств одного или более местоположений (106) хранения; и
компонент (104) яруса, который реализует виртуальные уровни данных резервного копирования в одном или более местоположений (106) хранения в соответствии со свойствами данных резервного копирования или свойствами местоположений (106) хранения, причем компонент (104) яруса распределяет данные резервного копирования среди одного или более местоположений (106) хранения, чтобы гарантировать доступность, в то же время уменьшая использование хранения и задержку на восстановление.

6. Система по п.5, в которой индекс содержит список соотношений между версиями резервного копирования и местоположениями хранения, которым были распределены версии резервного копирования.
7. Система по п.1, в которой свойства данных резервного копирования включают в себя по меньшей мере одно из частоты доступа к данным резервного копирования, доступность данных резервного копирования, или время от создания данных резервного копирования, причем данные резервного копирования, к которым часто обращаются, логически выводятся как наиболее вероятно должны быть восстановлены, и причем данные резервного копирования, к которым нечасто обращаются, логически выводятся как наименее вероятно должны быть восстановлены.
8. Система по п.7, в которой компонент (104) яруса распределяет данные, к которым часто обращаются, к местоположениям хранения в тесной сетевой близости к восстанавливаемому клиенту.
9. Система по п.7, в которой компонент (104) яруса дублирует копии данных резервного копирования, к которым часто обращаются, в надежные местоположения хранения.
10. Система по п.7, в которой компонент (104) яруса назначает данные резервного копирования, к которым нечасто обращаются, удаленным узлам хранения, которые обеспечивают надежное хранение.
11. Система по п.1, в которой свойства местоположений (106) хранения включают в себя степень исправности соответствующих местоположений хранения, емкость запоминающего устройства местоположений хранения, доступность местоположений хранения, использование полосы частот местоположений хранения, или предсказанные времена задержки для передачи данных между соответствующими местоположениями хранения.
12. Система по п.1, в которой компонент (104) яруса обнаруживает критический отказ по меньшей мере одного местоположения хранения или клиентской машины на основании свойств одного или более местоположений хранения, и в которой компонент (104) яруса упреждающе назначает данные резервного копирования в ответ на обнаруженный критический отказ.
13. Система по п.1, в которой одно или более местоположений (106) хранения включают в себя один или более одноранговых узлов или местоположений хранения из облака, и в котором компонент (104) яруса создает виртуальные уровни данных резервного копирования посредством применения более высокого уровня предпочтения в отношении местоположений хранения, соответствующих одноранговым узлам, чем в отношении местоположений хранения, соответствующих местоположениям из облака.
14. Способ (700) для интеллектуального распределения по ярусам информации резервного копирования в распределенной среде резервного копирования, содержащая:
использование процессора, выполняющего выполняемые компьютером инструкции, сохраненные на считываемом компьютером носителе данных, чтобы реализовать следующие действия:
создание (702) виртуальных уровней информации резервного копирования по набору местоположений хранения;
контроль (704) информации резервного копирования, чтобы установить свойства информации (706) резервного копирования, причем свойства включают в себя по меньшей мере одно из частоты доступа, доступности или возраста информации резервного копирования; и
динамическое перераспределение (708) информации резервного копирования по виртуальным уровням на основании свойств информации резервного копирования, чтобы гарантировать доступность информации резервного копирования, минимизируя затраты на хранение и задержку при восстановлении информации резервного копирования.
15. Способ по п.14, дополнительно содержащий:
обозначение (802) информации резервного копирования как по меньшей мере одной из горячих данных или холодных данных, на основании свойств информации резервного копирования;
распределение (804) горячих данных местоположениям хранения, которые предоставляют оптимальное местоположение к клиенту восстановления; и
распределение (806) холодных данных удаленным местоположениям хранения, которые обеспечивают хранение с минимальной стоимостью.
