1. Способ информирования пассажиров о продолжительности ожидания маршрутных транспортных средств, заключающийся в том, что предварительно каждое маршрутное транспортное средство снабжают устройством связи, используемым для автоматического определения в процессе движения координат местоположения транспортного средства на маршруте с использованием каналов мобильной связи и сервера, формирующего базу данных по координатам и направлениям движения транспортных средств, а затем по запросу с устройства мобильной связи пассажира, определяющего и передающего на это устройство значения продолжительности ожидания транспортного средства на остановке, отличающийся тем, что предварительно остановки маршрута в обоих направлениях маркируют, а сервер дополнительно снабжают базой данных со сведениями о маркировке остановок и о графиках движения маршрутных средств, которые затем учитываются при определении сервером продолжительности ожидания, при этом запрос пассажира и передачу сведений с сервера осуществляют в USSD-режиме, причем USSD-запрос пассажира включает номер маршрута транспортного средства и маркировку остановки. ! 2.
