Abstract

The device (1) has a driveless running gear (2) to be pushed or pulled along a travel way e.g. track cable (4). An electrical energy storage device (14) e.g. rechargeable battery, is connected to and travels with the running gear along the travel way. An electrical energy consumer (15) e.g. floor heater, is connected to the electrical energy storage device. An electrical energy obtaining apparatus obtains electrical energy from relative movement between the running gear and the travel way and stores the obtained electrical energy in the electrical energy storage device. The consumer device is selected from a group consisting of seat heater, floor heater, car air heater, air conditioning unit, multimedia device, lighting system, drive for car door, measuring device, motor for rotating a gondola car, device for active pendulum damping and drive for active moving gear.

Claims (22)

1.
