Claims (9)
1. Сосуд, содержащий неподвижный слой, имеющий глубину менее диаметра сосуда, в котором он расположен, причем указанный неподвижный слой содержит материал в форме частиц, расположенный на перфорированном элементе и ограниченный граничным элементом, непроницаемым для рабочей жидкости, отличающийся тем, что граничный элемент не прикреплен к перфорированному элементу, и, по меньшей мере, часть указанного граничного элемента ограничивает указанный материал в форме частиц, по меньшей мере, по существу на глубину слоя под общим углом 20-70° к направлению потока жидкости через указанный слой, причем указанным общим углом является угол между направлением потока жидкости через массу слоя и прямой линией, проведенной между нижним концом граничного элемента и точкой, в которой граничный элемент встречается с верхней поверхностью слоя.
2. Сосуд по п.1, в котором граничный элемент имеет 1-50 изогнутых и/или прямых фасок.
3. Сосуд по п.2, в котором предусмотрена комбинация фасок, которая обеспечивает, по меньшей мере, одну ступень ниже поверхности слоя.
4. Сосуд по п.1, имеющий первый внешний граничный элемент, идущий от по существу перфорированного элемента в положение выше поверхности слоя и резервуара материала в форме частиц, расположенного между указанным первым внешним граничным элементом и вторым внутренним граничным элементом, идущим из положения в сторону от перфорированного элемента ниже поверхности слоя в положение выше поверхности слоя.
5. Сосуд по п.1, в котором слоем является тонкий слой, имеющий глубину 5-500 мм.
6. Сосуд по п.1, в котором материал в форме частиц содержит катализатор или сорбент и, необязательно, инертный материал.
7. Применение сосуда по любому из пп.1-6, в котором слой подвергают воздействию температур выше 100°C.
8. Применение сосуда, имеющего неподвижный слой сорбента по любому из пп.1-6, для удаления материалов, содержащих серу, ртуть, мышьяк, воду и/или хлористый водород, из рабочих жидкостей.
9. Применение сосуда, имеющего неподвижный слой катализатора по любому из пп.1-6, в процессах окисления аммиака, гидродесульфуризации, получения цианистого водорода, получения формальдегида или частичного окисления углеводородов.
