Abstract

The utility model relates to the field of equipment for processing agricultural products and can be used for grinding coarse and succulent feed, pumpkin, root crops. The screw feed chopper with an adjustable deck contains a hollow body with a loading funnel, a feeding screw with turns in the form of sickle-shaped knives, chopping a two-blade knife and a deck overlapping the discharge window, consisting of a fixed and a movable ring with sector partitions and openings. The rotation of the movable ring changes the bore sections of the discharge window and the degree of grinding of the feed product. The claimed utility model increases the productivity of known equipment, reduces its setup time, and expands its functionality.

The utility model relates to the field of equipment for processing agricultural products and can be used for grinding pumpkins, coarse, succulent feed and root crops.

Known universal auger feed chopper, including a feed screw with turns in the form of sickle-shaped knives, a chopping body in the form of a knife, a gearbox, as well as a removable deck in the form of a round plate with through holes covering the discharge window [1].

The disadvantages of the noted technical solution are the design complexity and increased metal consumption due to the need to provide separate rotation of the screw and chopping knife, as well as the difficulty of changing the degree of chopping of the feed by installing a deck with the desired size of the through holes.

The prototype of the proposed technical solution is a screw-knife feed chopper [2]. In it, a chopping two-blade knife is structurally mounted on the shaft of the feeding screw, which simplifies the design and reduces the metal consumption. However, the degree of grinding of the product is still controlled by changing the deck.

The purpose of the claimed utility model is to increase productivity, reduce equipment setup time for a given feed grinding rate by simplifying adjustment.

The specified result is technically achieved by the fact that the deck is made of two elements: fixed and movable, allowing due to the relative position relative to each other to transform the sections of the through holes without removing the deck.

The auger feed chopper comprises a hollow body 1 with a loading funnel 2, a feeding auger 3 with turns in the form of sickle-shaped knives 4, on the shaft of which a chopping two-blade knife 7 is installed in front of the deck 5, which covers the discharge window 6. The deck 5 consists of a fixed ring 8, placed in the housing 1, and a similar movable ring 9 with sector partitions 10 and openings 11. The ring 9 is mounted with the possibility of rotation on a common axis with the ring 8 relative to the fixed ring 8, thereby achieving a change in the number of passage sections 12 narrow window 6 and their area, which contributes to a change in the degree of grinding of feed material without the need to replace the deck.

The feed material comes from the feed hopper 2 to the feed screw 3, where, falling under the action of the sickle knives 4 when moving to the discharge window 6, it is pre-crushed and passes into the working area of the knife 7, further crushed and unloaded through the passage sections 12 formed by the partitions 10 and the openings 11 of the rings 8 and 9 of the deck 5. The degree of grinding of the feed material is regulated by turning the movable ring 9 relative to the stationary ring 8.

The claimed technical solution is aimed at application in small farms, as well as in peasant and farm enterprises.

Auger feed chopper containing a hollow body with a loading funnel, a feeding screw, each turn of which is formed by two sickle-shaped knives, installed in the cavity of the body and ending with a two-blade knife, an unloading window covered by a deck, characterized in that the deck is made of two coaxially mounted fixed and movable rings with sector partitions and openings with the possibility of regulating the passage sections of the discharge window.
