Abstract
An internal combustion engine with opposed pistons belongs to the field of internal combustion engines that convert the rectilinear movement of pistons (1, 2) into the rotary movement of crankshafts (5, 6). The technical problem was solved by supplying the two pistons (1, 2) with one injector, which ensure the rotational movement of the crankshafts (5, 6). An engine head (12) is placed on a horizontally placed engine block (11), which houses a distribution mechanism that includes camshafts (7, 8), exhaust valves (9) and intake valves (10), which is connected by a chain (26, 27) connected to the crankshafts (5, 6) which are interconnected by gears (29, 30, 31, 32, 33).
