Inventia se refera la o celuiloza microcristalina caracterizata prin aceea ca, prezinta la un grad de polimerizare între 324 si 420 un indice de cristalitate de 77,5...79,0 un indice de filtrare de 1,02.10 la minus 3...1,525.10 la minus 3, suprafata specifica si densitatea în gramada fiind de 10..18,4 m patrat/g, respectiv 0,135...0,160 g/cm cub, suma fractiilor sub 72,36 si 77,80. Procedeul de obtinere a celulozei conform revendicarii 1, prin hidroliza cu o solutie concentrata de H2SO4 a celulozei de fag, la un hidromodul de 1:20, urmata de filtrare, spalare cu apa demineralizata la un pH neutru al produsului hidrolizat, uscare si macinare, se caracterizeaza prin aceea ca, se utilizeaza H2SO4 de concentratie 54%, hidroliza avînd loc la temperaturi de 55 degree C...65 degree C, timp de 4 sau 5h.
