Inventia de fata se refera la un procedeu de concentrare a substantelor feromagnetice, cum sunt fierul metalic, magnetitul, magnezitul, pirotina si ilmenitul, îndeosebi a acelora aflate în asociatie cu substante peramagnetice sau diamagnetice, care formeaza granule care nu pot fi separate cu ajutorul cîmpurilor magnetice de intensitate mica pe care le dezvolta separatoarele magnetice uzuale. în scopul obtinerii unui randament ridicat al separarii substantelor feromagnetice, separarea magnetica are loc în cîmp neomogen de intensitate medie sau mare urmata de o macinare a produsului magnetic intermediar constituit din concrescente si o separare magnetica finala în cîmp izodinamic de intensitate joasa. Iar în scopul realizarii unei extractii maxime de substante feromagnetice concrete sau libere dar de dimensiuni foarte mici, separarea magnetica în cîmp neomogen de intensitate mare este precedata de aducerea materialului granular în suspensie cu apa la o concentratie de faza solida de ordinul a 25-40% prin îngrosare în doua trepte, evitîndu-se pierderea de substante feromagnetice în suprascurgere.The present invention relates to a process for the concentration of ferromagnetic substances, such as metallic iron, magnetite, magnesite, pyrothine and ilmenite, especially those associated with permagnetic or diamagnetic substances, which form granules which can not be separated by means of fields small magnetic intensities developed by conventional magnetic separators.
