Abstract

Inventia se refera la un catalizator îmbunatatit pentru oxidarea aldehidelor nesaturate, în principal pentru oxidarea acroleinei. Catalizatorul contine pe un suport de bioxid de siliciu luat în proportie de pâna la 50% din greutatea catalizatorului, un amestec de oxizi de molibden, vanadiu, wolfram, titan, stibiu si un metal alcalin în astfel de proportii încât sa corespunda formulei empirice: (vezi formula) în care M este un metal alcalin, iar simbolurile a, b, c, d, e, f, x, reprezinta numarul de atomi al elementelor care intra în constitutia amestecului si sunt egale cu a = 15...15, b = 1...10, c = 0,5...5, d = 0,1...2, e = 1...10, f = 0...5, "x" are valoarea necesara satisfacerii valentelor celorlalte elemente. Pentru testare un amestec gazos format din acroleina, aer, vapori de apa, este trecut peste catalizator, cu o viteza volumara de 800 - 1500 h la -1, la temperatura adecvata. Se obtin conversii de peste 97% cu selectivitate minima de 90%. Daca acroleina provine direct dintr-un reactor de oxidare a propenei în care s-a folosit un catalizator specific, randamentul global în acid acrilic fata de propena introdusa este de 62%.
