Inventia se refera la un procedeu de recuperare a fenolului din solutia de fenolat de sodiu în procesul de fabricare a fenolului si cetonei, conform careia, se trateaza solutia de fenolat de sodiu cu dioxid de carbon într-o coloana de absorbtie cu talere sau umplutura, prin recircularea solutiei de fenolat pîna la recuperarea practic totala a fenolului.
