SE PASA EL AGUA A TRATAR POR UN A PRIMERA COLUMNA QUE CONTIENE UNA RESINA ACIDA DEBIL INTERCAMBIADORA DE IONES EN FORMA DE HIDROGENO; A CONTINUACION SE PASA A TRAVES DE UN MODULO DE DESCARBONACION PARA SEPARAR EL DIOXIDO DE CARBONO DISUELTO Y FINALMENTE SE ENVIA A UNA SEGUNDA COLUMNA QUE CONTIENE UNA RESINA ACIDA DEBIL INTERCAMBIADORA DE CATIONES EN FORMA DE SODIO. ES UTILIZABLE PARA EL TRATAMIENTO DE AGUAS EMPLEADAS EN APLICACIONES INDUSTRIALES.
