Abstract
Prezenta inventie se refera la un procedeu de compensare a cîmpului magnetic vertical în cuvele de electroliza a sarurilor topite amplasate transversal. Pentru realizarea compensarii, se dispune sub fiecare capat al cuvelor o bucla de compensare careproduce un cîmp magnetic vertical suplimentar, sensibil egal cu cîmpul magnetic vertical mediu al cuvei pe latura sa mica si de sens contrar, si se trece în fiecare dintre bucle cel putin o fractiune de curent care parcurge colectorul negativ din am ont. Inventia de fata îsi gaseste aplicarea la seriile de cuve de electroliza a sarurilor topite de intensitate înalta, pentru producerea de aluminiu.
