Abstract

Procedeul de obtinere a MgO din serpentenit prin atac clorhidric consta în aceea ca, extractia ionilor metalici din roca silicatica se face cu o solutie apoasa de HCl 15...35%, de preferinta 20%, la temperatura de 50...90 degree C, de preferinta 70 degree C, raportul molar între reactanti fiind de 1:1...1:1,5, separîndu-se prin filtrare si centrifugare solutia de cloruri de Mg, Fe, Ni, Co, etc., din care prin tratare cu MgO [suspensie de Mg(OH2] si în prezenta unui floculant-poliacrilamida se îndeparteaza hidroxizii din Fe, Ni, Co etc., iar solutia de MgCl2, dupa concentrare prealabila, se obtine MgO si HCl prin procedee cunoscute-descompunerea termica sau tratarea solutiei de MgCl2 cu lapte de var sau lapte dolomitic urmata de separarea Mg(OH)2 din careprin calcinare se obtine MgO.
