Abstract

Los aspectos de la presente invención hacen referencia a recptores de LysM genéticamente modificados. En particular, la presente invención se refiere al reemplazo de parte o todos los motivos en el dominio LysM1 por los correspondientes motivos del dominio LysM1 de un receptor de LysM donante que puede alterar la afinidad, selectividad, y/o especificidad por un oligosacárido, en particular por factores Nod (lipo-quito-olisacáridos(LCO)). La presente invención además se refiere a la alteración genética de receptores de LysM en plantas para incluir un dominio LysM1 modificado y para alterar genéticamente los receptores de LysM en plantas mediante el reemplazo de parte o todos los motivos en el dominio LysM1. La presente invención además se refiere a la combinación de modificaciones del dominio LysM1 como modificaciones de los dominios LysM2 para incluir un parche hidrofóbico, por medio de lo cual las modificaciones de dominio LysM2 pueden alterar la afinidad, selectividad, y/o especificidad por un oligosacárido, en particular por factores Nod (Lipo-quito-ologosacáridos(LCO)).-
