Description

A presente invenção refere-se à soldadura de produtos de aplicaçao.
A soldadura de motivos plásticos, conhecidos como produtos de aplicação, a bases texteis utili zando máquinas de soldadura de alta frequência ê um precesso que, ele próprio, não é novo e tem sido realizado durante vá rios anos. Contudo, não é um processo directo e existe um número considerável de problemas, inerentes ao processo, que tornam difícil de conseguir um produto final de qualidade elevada.
Um factor que determina, por exemplo, a qualidade do produto final ê a uniformidade da ligação da soldadura dos motivos plásticos ao tecido. No próprio processo de soldadura, é essencial que o plano da superfície do molde esteja paralelo ao suporte do artigo de vestuário para

garantir uma mesma pressão e contacto da saliência de soldadura do molde sobre o motivo plástico. 0 desenho da saliência da soldadura sobre o molde ê também importante para asse gurar uma boa ligação e uma separação limpa e fácil do exce_s so do material de decoração dos motivos plásticos depois da soldadura. Estes e outros factores são importantes para a qualidade do produto final.
A presente invenção pretende proporcic) nar um molde melhorado. Consequentemente a presente invenção proporciona um molde, para se utilizar em soldadura a quente, dum desenho em relevo sobre materiais plásticos, pos_ suindo o molde uma primeira face; e possuindo, pelo menos uma primeira saliência de soldadura alongada que se eleva e se estende ao longo de um percurso fechado e pré-seleccionado na referida face, possuindo a referida saliência de solda^ dura uma primeira superfície de soldadura afastada e essencialmente coplanar com a referida primeira face e uma aresta de corte que se projecta por trás da referida superfície de soldadura e se estende ao longo do comprimento do referido percurso fechado externamente à referida superfície de solda, dura para cortar o referido material plástico durante a soldadura.
A presente invenção em seguida, por meio de exemplos, com referência aos desenhos que a acompanham, em que:
A figura 1 representa uma secção parcial, de um molde acabado, ao longo da linha A-A da figura 4;

A figura 5 representa uma vista alimentada duma secção de uma saliência de soldadura, possuindo uma aresta de corte.
No processo para a aplicação de um pr£ duto de aplicação a um artigo de vestuário utiliza-se uma có pia do desenho da aplicação para fabricar uma placa gravada que depois se utiliza como padrão para executar mecanicamente um molde de soldadura (10).
As linhas a preto na figura 4 represen tam as saliências de soldadura (12) do molde. Existem duas formas de saliências de soldadura necessárias no molde. As primeiras são saliências de soldadura cujo único fim ê o de soldar os motivos plásticos ao tecido, e estas estão represen tadas pelas linhas pretas mais finas na figura 4. Estas refe renciam-se como saliências de soldadura interiores (12a).
As segundas são saliências de soldadura cujo objectivo ê o de soldar o motivo do tecido e também o de cortar o motivo ao longo da aresta exterior da saliência de soldadura. Isto permite que o excesso do material do motivo seja removido de^ pois da soldadura. Estas referenciam-se como saliências de soldadura exteriores (12b) embora possam ocorrer dentro dos limites do desenho do motivo e representam-se linhas pretas grossas que contornam o desenho do motivo. As saliências de soldadura exteriores são mais largas do que as saliências de soldadura interiores, para permitirem a formação de uma aresta de corte (14) e também para assegurar uma soldadura conveniente ao longo da aresta de corte do motivo.
A largura exigida para as saliências de soldadura exteriores (12b) no molde acabado depende do compri. mento total das saliências de soldadura exteriores (12b) no desenho. O comprimento das saliências de soldadura (12b) não têm de ser medida exactamente e, por isso, isto refere-se geralmente ao tamanho real (área) do molde, podendo a largura (J2.) de cada saliência de soldadura ser determinada de acordo com o tamanho real do motivo. A Tabela I, a seguir, apresen ta as larguras (/) ideais de saliência de soldadura exterior.

A largura mínima do interior, e a porção de soldadura das saliências de soldadura exteriores não devem ser inferiores a 0,5 mm, porque abaixo disto não se pode garantir uma verdadeira soldadura.

Visto que nos preocupamos aqui com um pormenor fino do molde a remoção do material entre saliências de soldadura relativamente próximas e o acabamento correcto de saliências de soldadura, a profundidade do trabalho mecâni.
co não deve ser superior a 4 mm., e não é critica. Ê suficiente aqui uma profundidade da ordem dos 2 mm. embora a profun didade critica seja de 2,5 mm.
Depois do material entre as saliências de soldadura ser trabalhado mecanicamente no molde e as saliências de soldadura acabadas correctamente, a altura vertical das saliências de soldadura interiores (12a) (aquelas não necessitam de possuir uma aresta de corte) necessita de ser trabalhada mecanicamente na face posterior devido à altura necessária da aresta de corte. Cada saliência de soldadura, excepto aquelas que necessitam de possuir uma aresta de corte, ê trabalhada mecanicamente na face posterior a uma profundida de de 0,3 mm.
Isto permite que se formem arestas de corte (14) nas saliências de soldadura exteriores (12b) de 0,3 mm de altura, o que é suficiente para 90 Z dos materiais de motivo.
As arestas de corte (14) nas saliências de soldadura exteriores (12b) formam-se então por corte poste: rior de cada saliência de corte a uma profundidade de 0,3 mm, ao longo apenas de parte da sua largura.
A figura 1 representa uma secção vertical através de um molde acabado (10) e como pode ver-se todas as saliências de soldadura (12) e arestas de corte devem permanecer nos mesmos planos respectivos. A figura 5 representa uma secção vertical aumentada ao longo de uma saliência de soldadura exterior com uma aresta de corte. A Tabela III, a seguir , apresenta as dimensões identificadas na Figura 4.

As dimensões anteriores aplicam-se à soldadura de 90 Z dos materiais.
No entanto para a soldadura de materiais resilientes grossos, particularmente, por exemplo, botas de Wellington feitas de materiais plásticos, utilizam-se as dimensões diferentes seguintes:

Durante a produção do molde formam-se também marcas de registo (10) nos quatro cantos do molde.
Elas ajudam o alinhamento do molde com um motivo de aplicação, antes da soldadura do motivo. Com vista a assegurar que as marcas de registo não interfiram com o processo de soldadura e eventualmente marquem ou danifiquem de outro modo os motivos plásticos, aquelas cortam-se na face posterior a uma altura de aproximadamente metade da das saliências de soldadura, tipicamente 2 mm.
Depois de trabalhadas mecanicamente, as saliências de corte e arestas de corte do molde são acabadas à mão. 0 lado de cima das arestas das saliências de soldadu ra interiores não cortadas e a aresta interior das saliências de soldadura exteriores que possuem as arestas de corte são inicialmente muito afiadas e ê particularmente importante que todas tenham as suas arestas afiadas removidas à mão de modo a evitar a possibilidade do seu corte dentro dos motivos plásticos durante a soldadura e o danificar do motivo. As arestas interiores das arestas de corte são também acabadas ã mão para assegurar que, por exemplo, quando uma saliência de soldadura exterior se volte exactamente sobre ela própria, a aresta de corte não seja mais larga do que o aceitável para efeitos de corte.

Claims (7)

  1. i 1. Molde para utilização na soldadura a quente de um material; plástico, possuindo um desenho em relevo sobre uma base, tendo esse molde:
    j uma primeira face; í e pelo menos um primeiro rebordo (12b) de soldadura,
    I : alongado, que se eleva e se estende ao longo de um percurso fechado e pré-seleccionado nessa face;
    caracterizado pelo facto de o referido rebordo de soldadura possuir uma primeira superfície de soldadura afastada e' praticamente coplonar com a referida primeira face e possuir uma aresta cortante (14) que se projecta para além da referida superfície de soldadura e que se desenvolve segundo o comprimento do referido percurso fechado exteriormente em relação à referida superfície de soldadura para cortar o referido material de plástico durante a! soldadura; e pelo facto de;
    a largura de cada uma dessas superfícies de soldadura ser de pelo menos 0,5 mm;
    a largura do referido primeiro rebordo (12b) de soldadura estar compreendida entre 1,5 mm e 3,0 mm;
    a altura da referida aresta cortante (14) acima da referida superfície de soldadura estar compreendida entre 0, 3 mm e 0,5 mm;
    e uma superfície lateral da referida aresta cortante (14) voltada para a primeira superfície de soldadura adjacente formar um ângulo não superior a 15° com uma linha perpendicular a essa primeira superfície de soldadura.
  2. 2. Molde de acordo com a reivindicação 1, caracterizado pelo facto de possuir também um segundo rebordo (12a) de soldadura, alongado, que se eleva sobre a referida face e por possuir uma segunda superfície de soldadura afastada e praticamente coplanar com a referida primeira superfície de soldadura, desenvolvendo-se essa segunda superfície de ί’ u
    i soldadura a toda a largura do referido segundo rebordo de soldadura.

  3. 3. Molde de acordo com qualquer das reivindicações anteriores, caracterizado pelo facto de a altura da referida aresta j: cortante (14) acima da referida face ser de pelo menos 4 ί

  4. 4. Molde de acordo com qualquer das reivindicações anteriores,' caracterizado pelo facto de a largura do referido primeiro1 jj rebordo (12b) de soldadura ser proporcional à maior! J dimensão linear do referido desenho em relevo.
