A PRESENTE INVENÇÃO DESCREVE UM MÉTODO PARA A OBTENÇÃO DE COLAGÉNIO TIPO I DE MATRIZES BIOLÓGICAS. ESTE MÉTODO COMPREENDE ESSENCIALMENTE TRÊS ETAPAS PRINCIPAIS: PREPARAÇÃO E REMOÇÃO DE CONTAMINANTES DA BIOMASSA; EXTRAÇÃO DO COLAGÉNIO; E RECUPERAÇÃO DO COLAGÉNIO PURIFICADO NA SUA FORMA SÓLIDA. A PRIMEIRA ETAPA DESCREVE A PREPARAÇÃO DE BIOMASSA COM A SUA MOAGEM POR PROCESSO MECÂNICO, REMOÇÃO DAS PROTEÍNAS NÃO-COLAGÉNICAS E REMOÇÃO DE GORDURAS RECORRENDO AO USO DE UMA SOLUÇÃO ALCALINA E UMA SOLUÇÃO ALCOÓLICA, RESPETIVAMENTE, PARA OBTENÇÃO DE UMA MATRIZ MAIS PURA EM COLAGÉNIO TIPO I. A SEGUNDA ETAPA COMPREENDE A EXTRAÇÃO SÓLIDO-LÍQUIDO DO TEOR DO COLAGÉNIO DA MATRIZ COM O USO DE UMA SOLUÇÃO AQUOSA DE UM SOLVENTE EUTÉTICO PROFUNDO DE PH ÁCIDO. POR FIM, O TEOR DE COLAGÉNIO É RECUPERADO COM A AÇÃO DE UM AGENTE PRECIPITANTE, DIÁLISE E SECAGEM. O COLAGÉNIO OBTIDO COM APLICAÇÃO NAS ÁREAS ALIMENTAR, FARMACÊUTICA, MÉDICA, COSMÉTICA, BIOMÉDICAE NA ENGENHARIA DE TECIDOS.
