Abstract
An installation for the coating of foundry cores by soaking in a bath (2) of an aqueous coating contained in a tank (3). A rheometer (13) measures the viscosity of the bath (2) and a level sensor (14) measures the level of the bath (2). A computer (17 allows the regulation of the rheological properties of the bath (2) by supplying water and/or the coating paste. A static mixer connected to a reservoir (30) of primary coating and to a source of water delivering the supply of water and/or coating paste in the tank (3). The tank (3) is also equipped with a circuit for regulating the temperature of the bath (2).
