Abstract

This device comprises in combination: a) arranged in the pipeline (14) for return to the tanks (8), at its inlet into the vessel (1), a pH-measuring electrode (15) and a cell (15') for measuring the conductivity of the dampening solution; b) connected to the pH-measuring electrode (15), an electronic pH-meter (16) associated with a proportioning pump (17); c) connected to the cell (15'), an electronic conductimeter (19) associated with a proportioning pump (20); d) arranged in the vicinity of the vessel, a pump (4) ensuring the continuous circulation of the dampening solution in the vessel (1) and its conveyance towards the dampening tanks (8); e) arranged between the vessel (1) and the dampening tanks (8), on the return pipeline (11), a nozzle (10) intended for sucking up the dampening solution coming out of said tanks (8) in order to reintroduce it into the vessel (1).
