Przedmiotem wynalazku niniejszego jest sposób regeneracji kauczuku, zwla¬ szcza kauczuku zawartego w zuzytych o- pomach kól pneumatycznych.Sposób niniejszy polaga w zasadzie na wytwarzaniu pewnego rodzaju, oleju lub esencji przez destylacje odpadków niepod- legajacych regeneracji, jak np. nasad pneu¬ matycznych kól samochodowych, starych przewodów kauczukowych do gazu, wody, kól pneumatycznych rowerowych i tym po¬ dobnych przedmiotów, a nastepnie na im¬ pregnowaniu tym olejem lub esencja opjn pneumatycznych do kól samochodowych, pocietych uprzednio na paski lub wieksze albo mniejsze kawalki; impregnowane w talki sposób kawalki zostaja po ukonczeniu impregnowania (t. j. po zaabsorbowaniu calej ilosci oleju lub esencji) zanurzone w kwasie solnym, najlepiej stezonym, który ma za zadanie przemiane pewnych czesci tego oleju lub esencji w kauczuk syntetycz¬ ny (prace Bouchardata), jak równiez cal¬ kowite zniszczenie plótna, zawarbejgo w ka¬ walkach zuzytych opon kól pneumatycz¬ nych (nalezy zauwazyc, ze zimny kwas solny nie dziala na kauczuk).Po zakonczeniu polimeryzacji esencji (w ciagu 15 — 20 dni) nieco lepka masa zostaje plókana w duzej ilosci wody celem usuniecia nadmiaru kwasu, poczem prze¬ chodzi na walce do mycia lub odoedzaniacelem usuniecia odpadków plótna, spalone¬ go przez kwas; odpadki te wypadaja z walca w postaci pylu.
