The clergyman can easily monitor the attention of the audience, especially the children, and it is much easier for the latter to listen carefully to the sermon while looking at the preachers. In addition, the ability to close the seat part and the knee of the bench allows the persons in the bench to walk more comfortably and more quietly. The figure shows some examples of the invention.
