Abstract

The application discloses a method for producing an organic-mineral fertilizer containing stabilized sewage sludge and at least one basic mineral component and optionally supplementary mineral components enriching the chemical composition of the fertilizer with plant nutrients, in a multi-stage process consisting of mixing, granulation, drying, separation of the proper fraction of the product, recycling oversize and undersize particles to the granulator, which is characterized in that the stabilized sewage sludge, in which the content of components toxic to plants has been previously determined, originating from municipal and/or industrial sewage treatment plants with a hydration of 50% - 75%, preferably 55% - 70%, which contains from 40% to 65% of the organic fraction, in an amount of from 30% to 50% by weight in terms of dry mass, is introduced together with the crushed, basic mineral component to the mixer granulator, optionally adding supplementary mineral components in crushed form, intensively mixing for a period of 60 to 300 seconds, then it dries, separates the fractions and packages the proper fraction with granule sizes from 1.0 to 7.0 mm, preferably from 2.0 to 5.0 mm, and the undersize and crushed oversize are recycled to the process. The essence of the application is also an organic-mineral fertilizer from stabilized sewage sludge, obtained in the process of purifying municipal and/or industrial sewage produced by the method according to the invention, characterized in that it contains up to 70% by mass of mineral components.
