Abstract
Przedmiotem zgłoszenia jest sposób utleniania limonenu do 1,2-diolu limonenu oraz karwonu, za pomocą utleniacza w postaci 60% roztworu wodnego nadtlenku wodoru, w obecności rozpuszczalnika i katalizatora, który charakteryzuje się tym, że jako katalizator stosuje się katalizator ZSM-5 o stosunku krzemu do glinu SiO2/Al2O3 od 30 do 1300, w ilości 2,45% wagowych w mieszaninie reakcyjnej, przy czym proces prowadzi się w temperaturze 80 - 100°C, w czasie od 0,5 do 360 godzin, przy stężeniu rozpuszczalnika w mieszanie reakcyjnej wynoszącym 45-95% wagowych. Proces utleniania limonenu prowadzi się pod ciśnieniem atmosferycznym, przy stosunku molowym limonen: utleniacz równym 1:2 do 1:1. Jako rozpuszczalnik stosuje się metanol lub izopropanol. Korzystnie surowce w procesie utleniania wprowadza się w następującej kolejności: katalizator, limonen, metanol lub izopropanol, natomiast roztwór utleniacza wprowadza się dopiero do mieszaniny reakcyjnej po osiągnięciu przez nią założonej temperatury reakcji z zakresu 80 - 100°C.The subject of the application is a method for the oxidation of limonene to 1,2-diol of limonene and carvone, using an oxidant in the form of a 60% aqueous solution of hydrogen peroxide, in the presence of a solvent and a catalyst, which is characterized by the use of a ZSM-5 catalyst as a catalyst SiO2 / Al2O3 silicon for aluminum from 30 to 1300, in an amount of 2.45% by weight in the reaction mixture, the process being carried out at a temperature of 80 - 100 ° C, during 0.5 to 360 hours at a concentration of solvent under stirring of 45-95% by weight. The oxidation process of limonene is carried out at atmospheric pressure, with a limonene: oxidant molar ratio of 1: 2 to 1: 1. Methanol or isopropanol is used as the solvent. Preferably, the raw materials in the oxidation process are introduced in the following order: catalyst, limonene, methanol or isopropanol, while the oxidant solution is only introduced into the reaction mixture after reaching the assumed reaction temperature in the range of 80-100 ° C.
