The purpose is to increase the strength of the surfaces of the molds and reduce burns of the molding sand for casting while eliminating drying of the molds. The mixture in the form of a solution or suspension of organic substances in a flammable liquid or in a dry powder state is blown out with compressed gas and ignited. The particles of the substance are softened or partially sintered on the way between the sprayer and the mold.
