Pompa dla obiegu grzewczego reaktora chemicznego charakteryzuje sie tym, ze jej korpus (8) ma komory naplywowe (3, 3a) z obu stron wirnika (9), do których co najmniej dwudroznym kolektorem (2) doprowadza sie ciekly metal. Przekroje kolektora (2) dobrane sa z zachowaniem zrównowazonego ilosciowo doprowadzenia cieklego metalu do obu komór naplywowych (3, 3a). Kazde z ramion kolektora (2) wprowadzone jest do komory naplywowej (3) i komory naplywowej (3a), korzystnie stycznie, w sposób powodujacy zawirowanie strugi metalu zgodnie z kierunkiem obrotów wirnika (9).
