Taka mieszani¬ na, naprzyklad lugu potasowego z dodat¬ kiem krezolu, powoduje intensywne wy¬ dzielanie sie tlenków zawartych w wodzie i w ten sposób zapobiega tworzeniu sie kamienia kotlowego.Ilosc krezolu wzglednie fenolu stosuje sie do ilosci domieszek, stwierdzonych ba¬ daniem wody.
