Abstract

The insulating frame (110) for installation of roof windows is made up of separate frame elements which have a cross section forming (at least over a substantial portion of its height) a clear opening with dimensions greater than the corresponding outside dimensions of the window frame. The frame is provided with means for holding it to the roof structure and/or the roof window.
