Powstaje przy tym trud¬ nosc polegajaca na tym, ze zaleznie od rodzaju drewna podlegajacego obróbce zmniejsza sie szybkosc wsiakania w drew¬ no roztworu je impregnujacego, a wskutek tego przedluza sie wydatnie czas obróbki.Przez to opózniane wsiakanie srodka na¬ sycajacego tworzy sie bloto.Stwierdzono obecnie, ze te trudnosci mozna usunac lub miocno ograniczyc przez dodanie do soli impregnujacych wielofosfo- ranów potasowców lub wapniowców. Za¬ dziwiajacy skutek objawia sie przy tym nie tylko w zwiekszeniu szybkosci wsiakania roztworu impregnuj aceigio w drewno lecz i w zapobiegiiieciu niepozadanemu z wielu powodów tworzeniu sie blota.Stwierdzono poza tym, ze wielofoisforan mozna mieszac z solami impregnujacymi przez zmieszanie ich w postaci roztworów, albo w stanie stalym. W ten sposób mozna utworzyc mieszaniny soli ochronnych za¬ wierajace fluor, których sklad w znacznej mierze mozna dosftosowac do kazdorazo¬ wego rodzaju drewna, o ile wartosc pH wodnego roztworu tych mieszanin soli be¬ dzie dobrana tak, by nie przekraczala 6,9.Wedlug sposobu niniejszego osiaga sie te korzysc techniczna, ze obecnie mozna calkowicie wykorzystac uzyte srodki im¬ pregnujace i iskrócic wydatnie czas trwa-nia nasycania drewna. Oprócz tego przez zapobiezenie tworzeniu sie blota umozliwia sie równlomierne nasycenie drewna. PLIt is known that fluorine-containing salts and mixtures thereof are used, together with other insecticidal and fungicidal salts, in the preservation of wood. The difficulty here arises in that, depending on the type of wood to be treated, the speed at which the impregnating solution is inserted into the wood decreases, and therefore the processing time is significantly prolonged. As a result, the delayed insertion of the impregnating agent forms mud. It has now been found that these difficulties can be removed or mitigated by the addition of impregnating potassium polyphosphates or limestone to the salts. The surprising effect is manifested not only in increasing the speed of penetration of the impregnating solution into the wood, but also in preventing the formation of mud which is undesirable for many reasons. It has also been found that polyphosphate can be mixed with impregnating salts by mixing them in the form of solutions or in permanent condition. In this way, mixtures of protective salts containing fluorine can be formed, the composition of which can largely be adapted to each type of wood, as long as the pH of the aqueous solution of these salt mixtures is chosen not to exceed 6.9. The technical advantage of the present process is achieved in that nowadays it is possible to fully utilize the impregnating agents used and considerably shorten the duration of impregnation of the wood.
